interest来说, 无论是政府部门还是公司，都年年讲，月月讲，而中国国内却似乎基本
上没有这个概念，很多部门都弄成了家族式的，比如一家人都在公检法系统，一家人都
在xx系统等等，几乎是国内的常态，而在美国是不允许也不可想象的。
关于这个conflict of interest, 甚至很多老中来美国多年了也没有概念。多年前
硅谷某老中，因被其老板解雇，愤而杀人。殊不知老板解雇他的原因就是美国人的常识
之一，conflict of interest, 起因是该老中凭着在其老板的公司里的位置，又在国内
某同行公司获得了兼职的职位，这在美国就是典型的conflict of interest, 没有公司
允许的， 可是估计这老中认为这很正常，可能认为这是左右逢源吧。结果被老板发现
并处理后，不思悔改，反而杀人泄愤。
不是说conflict of interest原则是万能的，但是遵循了这个原则，确实能防止一些明
显的贪污腐败徇私枉法。

NIH申请给达到了一个special emphasis panel (没有放我自荐的最合适的panel）, 查
了一下，是个member conflict panel。问题是我不是如何study section 的standing
member。我只是今年2月份以前去过3次我自荐的最合适的panel，这样不应该算member
conflict吧。
有希望request re-assignment吗？这种member conflict panel怎么样啊？ |

我們倆都不懂Jazz 說不定比女主角Mia還不懂 :)

"It's dying" 他還誓言要拯救及保存這個old music
我不禁想到這個電影不也正是在講理想和現實的conflict and compromise嗎
而當Keith(樂團主唱)找到Ryan時 他嘗試說服Ryan接受不同型式的音樂 或是樂曲裡融
入很多其他元素 他說"How are you gonna be a revolutionary if you're such a
traditionalist? You hold onto the past, but jazz is about the future."

班同学的处理冲突的分数都比她高。
后来升班
前老师的评语是conflict的解决达标了。但我看未必。每次有小朋友来我家玩她都不肯
share玩具，因为是在自己家，有点欺负别的娃的感觉，搞得我很内疚。最近一次因为
她不肯share被一个很熟的小妹妹把玩具抢走，她哭了好久，搞得我很尴尬。去别人家
就没有这个问题，不知道是她不会霸着玩具还是什么原因，去别人家从来没有啥冲突。

By definition, if C and E companies fall into the same genre/category and they
are head-to-head competitors, what ur described will be "conflict of
interest",
for ur case, you can outspeak ur concerns and let C's manager know of the
"truth" in ur minds,
however, you just need to proceed skillfully and not put urself on E's
radar-screen ;)

the first place. Been there. Done that. Some of your arguments sound so
familiar that I can't help smiling (not laughing though).
