Students in Kentucky were the first to undergo the Common Core’s testing
regimen; the state adopted the standards in 2010. One year later, its
students’ scores fell across the board by roughly a third in reading and
math. Perhaps one cannot blame the students, or the teachers — who struggle
to teach to the new, behemoth test that, in some cases, surpasses their
curriculums — for the drop in scores.

Apex is successful in this area. They don't have many technologies,
their customer service has very bad reputaion too. But they still

become a even better business, Apex hasn't take full advantages out

Apex has already shown a successful business model. Now, the market

In long run, I feel Apex not in good position. Once Chinese figure

For startup, it doesn't matter what is the long run. The current
opportunities are the most important.
In the long run, anything could happen. A startup doing similar
business like Apex could very possibly become a subsidiary of
Changhong. Because the expretise in import/export and retail area,
these type of companies could be useful to those big Chinese

Where is relation/funding,sigh. For a tech startup, it is now very
difficult to get funding without revenue in good valuation, VC

Currently, most market are saturated like semi/cosumer electronic/

There could be many opportunities other than high techs. High tech
area is bad these days. The objective for startup is just to take
opportunity and make money. It doesn't matter what the opportunity
is.
Maybe they didn't do well after the acquization. Any investment
could fail, it's just a risk that venture capital have to take.
Loss in a investment or startup is common. Nobody should feel
guilty about it.
This is a very good example for doing a low-tech business.
