（当时是学校出的）。 但公司要求你学校直接邮寄transcript给他们。我的学位是英
文的，但因为不是美国的，所以也要做。 还好，我们学校非常迅速地把transcript邮
寄给他们了（赞一下新加坡国立大学）。

这样能用么？

teaching credential的学校,比如SJSU，有单独的teaching Chinese Credentail
program，但是现在搬离了湾区，可能中文没有那么热的原因，周围几个学校，没有专
门的中文credential课程，只有foreign language credential (French, German, and Spanish)，想问问在加州公立学

时感谢这里和那里的几位前辈（crissyao等）。
我本科的系翻译为Electronic Engineering，PTO的A类专业里有Electrical
Engineering和Electronic Technology，都是擦边球，一开始我以为能蒙混过关（因为
毕竟本科学的内容和这边Electrical Engineering学的都是一样的，而且还有这边
Electrical Engineering的研究生学历），于是就直接按A类专业去申请，申请材料完
全按照大纲（http://www.uspto.gov/ip/boards/oed/GRB_March_2012.pdf）里面的要求准备的。
一个月后收到据信，才知道PTO是很扣字眼的。当然这也许是一个个例，不清楚是否每

1. 我雇主的保险能cover大部分手术费用,但是接受我保险的只有大学医院,这是个
teaching hospital/resident clinic 这就意味着residency doctor会参与手术. 可是
我讨厌当小白鼠的感觉,感觉residency doctor水平肯定不高,这种手术0.001%失败的风
险我都不愿意去冒
我住的城市里所有的oral surgeon都问了一遍都不接受我的保险,除了这个大学医院我
别无选择,但就是不甘心!
不知道是不是应该去邻近的芝加哥找一个自己操刀而且还接受我保险的oralsurgeon呢?
2. 我打听到的Yale 大学医院也做这样的手术(我生活在中西部,坐飞机到耶鲁俩小时),
主治医生是哈佛医学院毕业的. 虽然这个也是大学医院residency doctor也会参与手术
, 但是医院名气和主治医生的credential都比我生活城市的大学医院要好很多.

evaluation). 这两个很容易，一星期之内搞定，寄回去。
又过了一星期，就看到网上 Post Decision Activity:

全部 DIY. 真的认为 NIW 完全不需要律师。另外搞明白那个 Credential evaluation
费了点劲。原来是要找一个做 credential evaluation 的公司来证明一下学历（国内
学历）。有很多这样的公司，要求不一，有的很麻烦，要你先从国内得到学历认证，然
后直接寄给他们，才给办。幸运的是我找到了一个很容易的公司，价格也公道 （90刀
）。几天就把材料寄给我了。

发帖数: 307 | 42 版上经常有人问办EB1A/NIW要有多少文章，多少引用，多少封推荐信等等。
我刚才在www.eb2niw.com看到了一个帖子。里面统计了300+个在2012年全年和2013年1
月期间approved的NIW case。我相信这些数据对大家会有帮助的，故特地copy过来分享
。虽然它们来源于NIW的case，但对于办EB1A的人也应该有一定的借鉴意义。
另外，原作者还统计了这些approved case中，有多少曾收到过RFE。
还有一点需要提醒大家注意的是：从名字看，eb2niw的网站创立者Veronika Vaneckova
应该是俄裔的，她所统计的case在国籍上可能比中国律师（比如hooyou)更广泛一些，
许多petitioner由于国籍关系，NIW根本没有排期。hooyou以前也时常发布类似的统计
，但你会发现在publication, citation上面，NIW和EB-1A其实相差并不多。这里就出
现了一个问题：这些case里有多少是EB1A/NIW一起申请的（原因大家都清楚，这里就不

kamala harris拿的是黑人和女性的Credential。她其实极力掩饰自己有印度血，只不
过被人扒出来了而已。
而Yang父母都是华人，长相百分比华人，连名字都是中国姓Yang，直接被人骂go back
to china, 在美国人眼里百分百chinese credential.
举个反例：
一个叫Halmolt的黑人女上了前10，她极力掩饰自己有中国血，但被人扒出来她妈妈是
中国人，嫁了个黑人生的她。
另外一边，一个叫Patel的男性，父母全是印度人，长相百分比印度人，连名字都是印
度姓Patel，直接被人骂go back to india, 多次登上CNN头版.
这种情况，我们能说中国人比印度人会搞政治么？Halmolt根本拿的不是中国人的

个学分左右，我估计），你要啃做双语老师准呱呱叫。现在很多学校都兴开中文课要找
有Credential的老师，拿到Credential再考个执照自己办学校。
我可能瞎出主意，但确实看到眼下不少人和你一样或类似的情况，想去学校补习后找工
作。不知道州立大学的课程也被穷砍了么？下学期学费上涨多少？
据悉社区学院下学期的学费从原来上涨10元一个unit,还是对resident的收费.停车费也

，支持我们的，常常会上来就扁我们一顿，铁杆反对我们的，常常会上来猛夸我们一顿
，把我们夸得天上地下都少有，目的都是为了说明自己后来的“但是”实在是有充足的
理由。就反对者来说，夸我们一顿，表示他们认可了我们的努力，认可了我们的初衷，
然后但是我们做得东西实在是太烂，他们抑制不住地痛心疾首，然后建议我们修改一堆
本来根本就不存在的问题。不熟悉这一套的人很容易就上钩了，觉得他们真的是为了老
百姓的福利着想，我们的申请真的是有根本性的不足。你有这样的想法就是典型的例子。
我们收集到了500+个签名，我们自己花了很多的功夫除去重复的，无效的，等等等等，
最后上交了200+个，真的都是学区内，明年有小孩能上学校的居民的签名，为了满足法
律要求，我们还专门再次上门，把我们300+页的petition给他们看，当然几乎没有愿意
当场看，但是我们还提供soft copy的下载链接，等等。
然后学区找这种各样的理由disqualify几乎所有的签名。比如，电话没人接，

知将退还给我明年初跑休斯顿半程马拉松的报名费。
星期四收到第二封电子邮件，给了一个link填表格，所有elite参赛者可以（1）在马拉
松赛的前一天上午实地考察马拉松线路；（2）免费与所有elite参赛者共进晚餐，可以
选择是自己一个人参加，也可以带一个人前往。我对（2）不感兴趣，但选择了（1），
因为明年的休马线路与往年有所不同。
昨天（星期五）下午又收到一个与elite参赛者相关的电子邮件，通知elite参赛者（1
）在马拉松赛道相关供应站可以存放自己的特殊饮料； （2）每一位elite参赛者可以
事先指定一位支持者，并将这位支持者的名字报给相关组织。这位支持者在比赛当天可
以进入招待站，elite参赛者区域、起跑区域等等。我在比赛过程中没有自己特别讲究
的饮料，组织者供应什么就喝什么，所以，对（1）不感兴趣。但是，我很喜欢（2），
就将我先生的名字报给了相关组织。我们的一位美国朋友是赞助这个马拉松赛的一个跨
国公司高层主管，今年初马拉松赛时，他送给我先生一个特别通行证。有了elite支持
