一张10k的信用卡，stmt date大概是每月15号左右，按grace period 20天算，假设due
date是每月5号。
那么在某月10号，我的balance是$9999，15号balance是0，
17号到下月10号又是$9999（中间就经过5号的due date），
这种情况会不会被charge 利息？ |

12月中submit的proposal
1月出有个status date change
5月11日External Peer review began
5月27日state date change但还是pending，PO没变，也没电话或email
但是发现Status中说：
Our records indicate that the following Annual Project Report(s) are due or
overdue for the Award(s) listed
below.
这个Status Date的改变，会是因为这个Annual Report due吗？还是Proposal悲剧了？
有懂行的大侠请帮分析一下。谢

半年。由于身体健康状况现在还是不行，不能返回，不得不停止该fellowship。由于暂
停期间还有research funding payment，现在要求写正式的辞职信，尤其是说明
effective termination date来计算funding，从而收回多发的funding。他认为应该是
suspension前一天为正式的effective termination date，因为该天后他没有正式工作
。但他老板让他写暂停后的某一天为正式的effective termination date。不知为何，
朋友担心他的老板这样做是有私心，为了少返回很多暂停期间的funding。
哥们很犹豫，担心这样写的话，funding部门会责备他，因为这是他的辞职信。以
后可能会被该部门封杀，不能申请所有的funding。问题是：这种情况下effective
termination date 到底是暂停前还是暂停后的某一天？funding部门应该按哪天来计算
funding？

所以很接近5年有效期，因为当年比较早考作文所以GRE成绩栏里Test Date是2/25/2011
，她的语文和英语是6月考的所以most recent test date是6/11/2011。想问下大家GRE
成绩的5年有效期是以哪个时间开始算？如果是6月开始的话到明年6月失效应该有足够
时间申请就不太用重考。学校在明年三四月审核申请者GRE成绩会因为看到test date是
11年2月认为GRE成绩失效了么？谢谢大家！ |

上个礼拜一就request了加急，主要考虑平均时间3个月，而且lg的经验，加了急还两个
月才下来，所以就电话去加了，昨天收到email要我fax材料过去
现在有点问题：
1. 这两天在版上做功课，大家好像都是starting date快到了才加急，是不是不到这个
时间，那边也不会处理啊？而且看到有人说，加急的request不要随便用。
2. 寄材料的问题，公司的offer letter上写的是7月1号，我把这个寄过去对方会觉得
很weird吧，会不会没什么说服力？（starting date定在8月11，是因为本来想用cpt工
作的，现在学校又不让申cpt，被坑了）
3. 如果现在加急没有用，我现在ignore这封email，过一阵再寄材料过去，可以吗？

可以收到。我学校的ISSS adviser告诉我USCIS必须在6/11号之前收到我的材料，我的
身份才不会有问题。但这个“收到”貌似是以USCIS发出的receipt notice(I797c)上的
receipt date为准的。我看了一眼我申opt时候的i797,上面receipt date只比received
date晚了一天，但是那时我并不是在高峰季申请的。我想请问一下最近申请了opt
extension的各位，特别是加州处理中心的，你们的receipt notice上的receipt date
是在USCIS收到你们的申请
材料之后几天？现在很着急，多谢了。 |

我们说close date当天一早签，agent 就好像威胁着说，会影响close/processing
date.
因为seller 等着拿钱close他的新房子，另外我们房子close后，他还要住一个星期才
搬走。
刚开始签合同时没意识到让seller免费住一个星期，真的很不爽。建议大家买房子尽量
不要答应这一项。
这个周五close date, 然后就是周末了。我们周五一早签，也不影响啊。有点担心
agent说签晚一天，seller 迟一天搬走。 |

disburse是同一天，所以closing date就是disbursement date，至于有rent back的合

it online) There are only 8 choices on dates(1, 5, 9, 13, ... etc)

有件事很讨厌,如果是在due date前一二天花了钱的话,它显示pending,等刚好到了due
date或过了一二天后,它再显示在上面.但是日期还是会显示在due date.

1，交罚金
2，没有0%的purchase grace period，就是说你所有的balance都要交利息。
解决办法：
1，跟cs求情，罚金可能退，看rp。
2，没有0% grace period,将balance付成负的，停止使用该卡2个statement 周期（比较
保险）。
从后面这段话可以看出你没有认真看你的账单，账单上面说的due date是哪天，balanc
e是多少，也就是说在due date之前还那个balance的钱就可以了。
另外提醒你一句，due date的时候，你付钱要post出来，这个跟你付账的方式是有关的
，可能有2天左右的偏差，除非你是在credit card的网站上付的。

想知道那个DUE DATE是不是靠得住,因为是按常规算法算出来的,但现在卡被关,是不是
应该尽快付.
其实呢,钱已经准备好,在CHECKING里了.只是AMEX在这次关卡事件上的傲慢让我很恼火,
不想待他们那么厚道,打算等到DUE DATE前两天再付.

我们大宝在cut-off date之后的一个月生的,
快满四岁的时候从国内回来上私立的preschool,当时只会说peepee,poopoo,
一年后学校自动让她升到K ,和她一起升班的还有另一个中国小姑娘,
那小姑娘比我们还小俩月.
进了K之后参加我们这里的公立学校考试,被实验班录取
(我女儿94%,另一个99%----几乎是全市最高了).
下一年转到公立的K(公立的对年龄有要求,私立的看成绩,咱这不没钱么).
^^^^^.......
怀二宝的时候预产期比cut-off date早三天,
本来不担心,因为都说二宝男娃会早出来,结果小家伙就是不出来,
到预产期我急了,生怕二宝又过了cut-off date,就磨医生给我催了,:)
最最可气的是我把二宝催出来之后咱这里又改政策了,
说cut-off date只作参考,此日子之后三四个月内的经测试都可以提前,
我晕^^^..................... |

expiration date是在opt制定生效日期前两个礼拜。iso解释如下：
1.opt申请拿到的新的i20的expiration date必须在opt指定生效日期前。
2.必须在新的i20的expiration date前complete program(pass defense?)，否则就属
于out of status。
但我想，因为opt一般都是在答辩前数月申请，万一某种原因，答辩时间推迟，或
comittee要修改论文，从而在新的i20的expiration date前不能complete的话，真的就
属于out of status了吗？
我想这种情况很常见，但愿不是那么恐怖。望过来人指点一下，不胜感激。 |
