information上，全年3天hunt day, 每天大约90个hunter, 去年三天总共收获deer 250
多只，几乎人均一条。 可以说是极好的猎鹿的地方。这里是federal wild life
refuge jointing state park,每年hunter被招来reduce deer population，buckshot
only.可今年的收获看来很不好，第一天30多只，第二天10只。我和猎友第一天都各拿
下一头，第二天空手。本来历年都不是很被看好的第三天，于是也变得非常令人期盼。
这第三天在12月中旬，正赶上本年度最低气温。清晨4点半，猎友来到我家，我们迅速
装车，开着truck向MasonNeck奔去。用他的话说，“我的car cannot take 4 deer"--
因为mason neck的daily limit是2 deer,而且doe是用deer management tag, 不占用自
己的tag, 我们两人理论上可以拿下4头。

发帖数: 1435 | 4 再讲讲其他雪场吧，deer valley在park city附近，是个高大上的resort (票也才120
，各方面秒杀只有一条道回山下的northstar)，传说中停车下来就有人来帮你搬ski。
特别适合拖家带口的，小朋友多，但明显都会滑，大部分在上课。deer valley看似蓝
道为主，但因为groomed的好，朝向偏北，所以滑着很爽，不会无聊。它标的偏保守，
northstar的有些黑道如果在那里可能会被标成蓝道，大部分双蓝都是偏陡的，带着
intermediate去滑的要留意些，循序渐进。另外在deer valley鲜有摔跤的，大家都很
in control。景色和alta不一样，cottonwood的山很大，park city的非常秀气。
题外话，alta, deer valley都不能滑board，这不是我选雪场的concern，但同行有
boarder，可能只有alta-snowbird, deer valley-park city这样了。snowbird没去过
，看数据和alta的区别主要在双黑的数量。如果要买alta-bird, 想尽兴一天可能不太

。去年还只有一两只，不成问题。现在已经有7-8只了，已经开始出现问题了。
草坪被啃坏了好几个位置，长出来的草还没有被啃掉的快。
每天白天看到这些兔子，就人工赶。
晚上就没办法了。每天早上清晨、或者晚上到院子里面的时候，都可以看到兔子快乐的

兔子也精明了，一看到我们，就往树林里面跑。晚上再出来，蹲着啃草。
已经知道这些兔子平常出没的路线了。
住处属于city limit范围，因此，不能够用枪打猎。
去年用过deer off， deer scram等等驱赶兔子的药品，太贵了，每次一下雨，就要重
新播撒。一大桶deer scram，100多刀的价格，四个多月就用光了。去年买了3大桶deer
scram，花了400多美元。
今年继续用deer scram，用不起了。太贵了。
1）想到walmart去买一条气枪，来打兔子，但是，考虑到可能违法。这个要咨询警察局。
2） 后来想，自己做一个电网，拉在院子四周，晚上通电，电兔子。然后红烧兔肉吃？

Most people shoot deer at 20ish, the most long shot I heard is 40-45. The
most close deer I shot is within 10 yards. I had deer looking at me from 4
yards away without spooking it.

也许今年夏天我们在户外活动的时间比往年多，父母来这里探亲，一起种菜、打枪什么

主持人播了一段录音，讲一位妇女打电话进来，抱怨公路上的deer crossing signs.
反正大意就是政府不负责，把这些牌子放在交通繁忙的路段，甚至是高速。
“why u people encourage deers cross at the interstate??? should have put it
at less busy roads, it is safer for them".
然后很严肃的建议：
“The government can direct the deer population anywhere they want to,” “
All they have to do is move that deer crossing sign.”

1.最明显的: MULE PG 是一块白的(跟ELK 一样), 尾巴是一根细棍似的, 白的 WITH
BLACK TIP. WHITETAIL PG 跟身上一样颜色, 尾巴是大毛刷,尾巴上面颜色跟身上一样,
下面是白的.
2. 角, MULE DEER 是分叉再分叉(你这头没第二次分叉,应该是两岁半).WHITETAIL 是
一根水平的MAIN BEEM, CURVE TOWARD FRONT, 分枝都是从MAIN BEAM 上往上长.
3. 脸. MULE DEER 的SNOUT (鼻冲)是很淡的灰白色,额头一块深色. WHITETAIL SNOUT
比身上稍淡点但不是淡到灰白, 额头也不是很深色.
4. 耳朵. MULE DEER 比WHITETAIL大,得和头大小看比例, 这个没经验的比较难看

其实去年劳动节去了pictured rocks and mackinac island以后，看了很多网友拍的北
密秋天的照片，我就一直对北密的秋色心动不已。而在等了整整一年之后，今天10月，
终于有机会亲眼目睹一下照片里让我难以释怀的北密秋色。
这次旅行历时6天，9/29/12早上一路北上，奔向北密的taquamenon falls, 10/5/12下
午从加拿大的algonquin provincial park开车回家。独自一人开了2400mi,横跨
Michigan的upper peninisula以及ontario半岛。亲眼目睹了北密41公路上那梦幻般的
秋色，野猪山标志性景色：lake of cloud, 以及加拿大ontario非常有名的algonqunin

两个月既business trip，到法国，之后返国内。中间偷鸡同lp去左中大，北门整个变
样了。不过好多地方都无么变。同lp重温左好多美好回忆。不过中大东门口的小吃铺好
似无赛甘，中午就去左明记，介辣膳片唔错。回程坐地铁返，觉得广州地铁比上海北京
要好好多，人少兼且干净。之后纵去左赛马场后面广东人家食，好旺啊，如果唔系熟人
订定包房，起码都要等个零两个钟至有位。去天河中泰中信公干，突然发觉广州靓女都
唔系天河浦了，比起北京国贸同埋上海淮海路，差距纵系好大。
去深圳公干，原先所剩无几既好印象终于被一扫而空。住在威尼斯crown plaza，贵就
够贵，不过服务纵比唔上成都sheraton，半夜点宵夜居然前台无人接。系深圳食左几餐
饭都无么特色，不过其实真系好难同深圳定义特色。兼之连日阴霾，硬好心情都变差拉。
返去最enjoy就系偷鸡同lp从上海到杭州游，中间既往日浪漫重温就略过啦。食也又便
