Report: Natural gas drillers injected tons of carcinogenic chemicals into
wells

The New York Times' Ian Urbina reported over the weekend that, according to
a report released by three House Democrats--Representatives Henry A. Waxman
of California, Edward J. Markey of Massachusetts and Diana DeGette of

The part, called the "switch indent plunger," is roughly a half-inch long
and costs 57 cents, according to testimony from House Democrat Diana DeGette
. GM spokesman Jim Cain said he couldn't confirm that the part cost 57 cents
. But, he added, "Presumably it is based on documents in evidence, so I won'
t dispute it either."
