OOOuuuch, It hurts. I sorted out the facts that 1) The finish is polyster,
which means it won't be melt by solvent and be perfectly repaired 2) The
finish didn't go off. So I didn't wanna go for the "nail polish" approach.

。结果左边的车子说他的右边passenger门handle附近有一个小dent,坚持说是我们开车
门造成的。儿子有开一下车门，但我看到间隙太小，就让他从另一侧下的。
他们坚持要我的insurance info.,因为我确实挺得有点近，所以我还是给他们了。在他
们记录我insurance信息的时候，我打开车门看了看，发现我的车门打开也到不了dent
那个位置，他们说他们已经到出来一点了，而且那个位置车门是弧形的，不明白怎么会
造成那样一个点的dent。我问他们，他们也没说什么，拿了保险信息，很着急的就走了
。而且他们说有人在那个dent位置擦拭过看有没有问题，那肯定就不是我们了。后来想
想，觉得这应该不是我们造成的，不过我已经把保险信息给他们了。
后来朋友说，这种情况根本就不应该把保险信息给他们，我开车以来还从来没有遇到过
任何车祸或者是擦碰，第一次，不知道是不是被人给讹上了 |

表面光滑无paint脱落。比较浅，单凭手摸得话感觉不出来。但是因为dent的反光折射
率和周围不同，所以视觉上还是很明显的 T-T

去年9月份买了一个scracth&dent的T410，i7+ssd，税前不到700；因为那个时候laptop
还没烧
掉，收到没拆就直接转给了版上以为朋友。当时收到的时候是refurbished的标，他收
到以后没有发现
任何划痕，用着也挺好的。
没想到刚把T410转掉，自己的笔记本就给烧了，然后又在outlet买了个refurbished的
B500，一直
用到现在都还蛮好的。
上周，一不小心又在outlet买了个scracth&dent的A700，刚拿到，找了半天也没见哪有
scratch
and dent。
看来的确是有点儿碰运气的感觉。
实在不行的找些硬件理由给退回去好啦！ |

I have comprehensive auto coverage. Shall I file a claim? will it be
denied since I do not have specific time and location of dent.
The estimate for fix from some shop is about $1,200. (I tried touch-

比和它垂直地方的直径. 如果镜头也DENT 就比较TOUGH, 因为L头的FILTER RING 很厚. |

询问了一下，如果只是把dent修好喷漆，需要大概400-500
如果bumper整个换掉，一共要1800左右。
车才半年新实在是心疼啊~

filler是腻子，一般对付小dent用，正常喷漆用来打底，但是现在有primer filler，
如果没有dent，铁皮表面很工整就可以直接用那个，免掉搞filler的麻烦。primer是主
要用来seal的，防止氧化。 |

几条擦痕应该只伤到coat，是不是磨磨就好了？
还有几处小点（2-3mm直径的圆点）应该是真的伤到漆了，有啥传说中的点漆笔可以用

不必走保险，通常可以私了，收50-100意思以下就可以，除非你车是豪华车。
小的dent 可以到craiglist上请专门修dent的人上门修，可能50可以搞定。 |

联系了对方保险公司，去指定的body shop估价，修的总价$600多（$150材料费+$500
人工费），需要3天，所以对方保险公司会提供我3天租车。因为dent不是很明显，不想
修了。
今天对方保险公司打电话来留了message，问我定下什么时间去修？需不需要car
rental? 我明天回电，能直接对他说我要cash $600多，不修也不要rental吗？这样也
给对方省了3天租车价钱。
