学校发了通知：
monday -- all staff breakfast
tuesday -- children bring a handmade cards/poem/picture
wednesday -- all staff luncheon
thursday -- all staff dessert
friday -- children bring a treat to the teacher (could be anything)
其中，如果家长想要donate to breakfast/luncheon/dessert，需要提前联系。我周日
晚上才想起来，自然就不donate了。今天早上，翻箱倒柜的把小菜以前上美术课的作品
撕了一张让她带走送给老师了，:P
计划周五再在家里翻点啥中国特色的，比如真丝小手绢什么的让她带去就完了。说实话

I am into dessert wine (of all vintage and price range) and
chateau (white wine). here is my take:
a) for dessert wine, go with light and fruity ones. A
good one is Saracco Moscato d'Asti (an italian wine) -
very fruity, does not have as much acid as other Italian wines.
You can get a 500ml bottle at less than $20 (more like low
teens).
b) for heavier desert wine, try Muscat de St.-Jean-de-Minerv |

dinner从appetizer到entree到dessert,包括饮料和酒都有一些选择,
另外早餐也会比盒饭好吃些
但即便这样,跟陆上还是没法比,一个重要的问题是飞机上加热只能用烤炉,
这严重限制了能制作的菜式,并且再加热过的菜也没法和新鲜出炉的地面的菜比 |

含糖量和甜味感也不能直接划等号，有的酒糖含量高，但是单宁和其他有机酸含量高喝
起来仍然没有甜味。
喝dessert wine 的可以尝试 冰酒 (Eiswein) ，葡萄干酒 （vin santo） 红白都有。
虽然很多人鄙视，但我更喜欢意大利风味的葡萄酒，Eiswein的涩味更重。美国酒兑的
多，香精多，其他的多以dry wine出名。
从描述看楼主应该是喝的vin santo或者某种加烈酒
其实不出名的一种新疆葡萄干酒也很好喝，Tokaji这些还真接受不了 |

首先有很多中国客人是还没到跟他说还有很多客人在等位（说这话一般是last resort
不会轻易说的）的时候，还在拾走空盘询问打包的时候就觉得你是在赶他走。其次我相
信我家老佛爷从来不会象lz quote的那样和客人讲话，这话有时候传一传的就变味了，
她是一个说话无论语气和用词都很注意和随和的人，这点是很多客人都认同的。
你说taste of texas等位要等两三个小时是吧，在我们这里有等8分钟就跑来表示不耐
烦说“我们都等半个小时了”的客人，去taste of texas会一直缠着代位服务员问我们
的桌子呢吗？那这也是为什么我们点不象taste of texas一样需要排2，3个小时的队啊
。我说了，中国客人和美国客人不一样，如果我们这里都是美国客人，那我也不会催，
因为排队的美国客人从来没有表示不耐烦过，不会一直堵在柜台问什么时候到我，这桌

上那个孔坏了，随手把badge插在pg后面的裤袋里就兴冲冲出office building去吃饭，
出门左拐，擦，红灯，两个白牛在那等着，高个那个brunette穿着灰色flannel外套，
有180左右，因为成90度对着女伴，左眼可以看到哥从她俩背后走来，虽然脸蛋儿不是
