1 Log in to gmfamilyfirst.com.
2 Access the GM Supplier's Discount for Friends in the left navigation menu.
When prompted, add your friend's date of birth and zip code. Click "Enter"
and you will be directed to a page with an authorization code. Print the
page or copy down the authorization code.
3 Take the authorization code to the dealership to receive the discount.

这REBATE有两种：
一种是制造商的REBATE，这种REBATE是要算税的，比如车价23K，制造商REBATE是3K，
那算税额还是23K，就算是当场你只付20K，还是按23K算。当然那种你付23K，然后再收
到3K的CHECK的情况，也是23K算。
另外一种是DEALER的REBATE，就是你跟DEALER的砍价。这是不算税的。比如23K的价，
你砍到了20K，那就是按20K算税。
有理解错的地方，请指正。

Our current PremiumCare extended warranty (ESP) with Ford expires soon, and
when I took our car into the dealer they offered to extend it another 5
years. The offer I was interested in was:

对于existing customer，只要sign up就可以了。 没有sign up的人赶快行动。ATT 有
24%的折扣。但是好像对于iphone这样的特殊的手机（带上网的）就不可以。一般的手
机plan 就可以。比如说我们家，对于2条line的ATT family plan,每个月可以省$16-$
17.
Verizon有22%的折扣。

一年前在 discount tires 买了四个新轮胎，每个 $87，号称 85,000 mile warranty
。一直定期做 rotation/balance，开了大概 21,000 miles。最近发现 tread 只剩 3/
32 了。于是去 discount tire 换胎。
我问小二能拿回多少 credit，他说每个轮胎能拿回 $22 credit。我说不对吧，我开的
mileage 一半不到，$87 只能拿回 $22？他说这是电脑根据所剩下的 tread 算出来的
。我说“如果剩下 0 tread 呢？那是不是一分钱 credit 不给？”。他想了想，就给
了我每个轮胎 $43.5 的 credit。说我赚了，这是半买半送(50% off)。
当时赶着上班，就没跟他较真。回到公司，拿出计算器算了一下。85k warranty 我开
了 21k，那应该给我 75% 的 credit 啊。再打电话去问小二，他满口答应。

，（2）市值固定，交易量小，市场更有被操纵的可能，（3）比ETF高很多的fees让投
资者要求有高discount，（4）portfolio较长时间不透明，更没有日内即使价格。
散户低分险套利的方法，就是低情绪discount很大时买入，铁了心越跌越买。适当市场
和情绪回归时卖出，能放大盈利。没有估值概念，准备TA割肉的，原本就不该买入。
