听。看起来很funny的样子。谁知拿起来一读，不仅他不喜欢，我也不喜欢。用的词读
起来拗口 -- 我的口语没那么好，读这种绕口令让我倍感艰辛。
后来跟人说起，别人的建议是：多好一故事，try it, try it and you may! 想想也有
道理，不管是不是绕口，再读给他听。他开始感兴趣了，笑得咯咯的。更显效果的是，
下次挑食的时候，告诉他：try it, try it and you may。This is just like green
eggs and ham! 他愿意听了。Gosh, 这书的魔力真大，竟然还管小孩吃饭。
不过小朋友最容易喜欢上的，应该还是Cat In the Hat。每个小孩都希望把这世界mess
up, 最后还没有consequence。一读到Thing 1 and Thing 2在屋里放风筝，thump
bump, bump thump, 钟也掉了，鱼缸也翻了，床也乱了。。。我家两个笑得前仰后合。

DR的SNR标准问题, 波兰网站optyczne做DR测试的时候就是用的4种不同SNR分别测出4个
DR. 10:1, 4:1, 2:1和1:1. optyczne认为10:1的最具参考价值. 和这篇文章的看法差
不多.
另外这篇文章认为缩图(normalization)并不能提高DR. 如果是这样的话, FF的DR优势
也没有DXO上显示的那么大了. |

1 一号（找茬男）的能力确实超过常人，但把他的能力评价过高（难度分为8）就不太
合适了。从原理上来说，一号其实是把整个色彩方块分成几个区域，用左右眼分别扫描
逐个区域进行对比从而找出差别（具体的可以看节目验证）。因此证明：1 一号的视觉
细胞/神经确实比普通人强，因为同样的方法即使一般人掌握了也做不到同样效果；2
要说由此证明一号的大脑远远优于常人就过分夸张了，因为这个不是完全用大脑记忆，
分析，计算，所以Dr。魏的这个8分打的偏高。
2 二号（弹琴女）的表现确实相对差一点，要求重复的次数多，速度慢，而且弹奏的曲
子有限制，无法证明她自己宣称的一心两用的程度。如果是完全随机的曲子，和迅速的
回答，那她完全有理由拿到难度分8甚至更高，因为人的左右脑的协调性和同步运行也
是最强大脑的一个标准。Dr.魏虽然给的分可以理解，但一来分数偏低（在基础粉不高
的情况下过于严苛了），而且用太直接的方式容易引起抵触情绪（看小姑娘的反应就明
白）
3 三号（体操女）是引起争议最大的一个，就我看来，三号的问题在于一分钟的观察时

年一拿到面试，就报了Dr. Wing Mock Interview。虽然费用不菲，但跟申请上巨大的
时间和金钱投入相比，不算什么。ACAP和Dr. Wing 的Mock Interview我都参加了，想
浅谈一下我对ACAP和Dr. Wing Mock Interview 的看法。首先要感谢ACAP组织这个免费
的活动，和无偿担任面试人的各位前辈。面试也很专业，反馈很及时。唯一的问题是由
于参加的人员太多，面试人不可能针对每个个例提出具体意见和建议。这也恰恰是Dr.
Wing Mock Interview的优势所在。Dr. Wing要求至少48小时之前把申请的whole
package和面试单位的网站提供给她，面试的问题显示她确实花了时间研究，因此面试
特别有针对性。我的建议是如有可能，两个Mock Interview都值得一试。 |

that she got the bronchitis, but my baby didn't have fever, so the dr didn't
gave any medicine. I begged her to gave some antibiotics, now my baby girl
is having a fever 100F, should I send her to the emergency room or just gave
her some Mortion. Please help, thanks. |

I tried Mt auburn hospital's, don't like the one i used. ( told me to go to
emergency if sth happens. And the Dr in emergency in MGH said he should not
have said that )

patient, but their dentist sb recommend several days before sounds good,
made an appointment to pull out my wisdom teeth. Wish sb could recommend a

发帖数: 897 | 32 今天真的愤怒了，想不到我这么平静的人也会愤怒。
事情的起因是这样的，儿子在Dr. Duan诊所配了OK镜，才戴了一个月，居然一觉醒来左
眼的硬质OK镜竟然碎在了眼睛里面，万幸的是碎了镜片不会对眼睛造成伤害。我们就打
电话Duan诊所要求更换镜片。电话里的说的很清楚要把碎的镜片还回来而且还要一整付
都在，我们也没多想，半只也戴不了，第二天就屁颠屁颠的下班赶到诊所dropoff了一
整付镜片。
过了大该两个月，真是辛苦的等待，总算收到镜片了，打开一看居然只有碎了那一边（
左）换了，What？居然只有一边OK镜，我觉得应该是诊所的人弄错了，就打电话去诊所
查证。接电话的态度极差，就开始教训我们，你们只能寄破的那一边bla bla。中间还
断了6次，根本是故意挂断的。最后答应说想想办法。我真心以为他们在想办法，在美
国还真没遇到过这么没职业道德的诊所。一晃又是2个月，我有写一封email去催，回信
告诉我，医生在外开会12天不在。想想都等了这么久了也不在乎这几个礼拜了。
今天接到了Dr. Duan的来电，告诉我他们诊所的流程是这样的，收镜片的人都会当场查

受不了了，老公刚刚答辩通过了。回来说，他老板立刻改叫他 Dr. Wang 了。让我以后
也叫他Dr Wang
我本来以为 他开玩笑的，就 叫了。没想到他让我一直交下去。这都快一周了。又不想
吵架。大家说怎么板呢？

yelp上看Dr. Salins 评价非常好，但他建议要拔4只牙。我女儿没有咬合问题，但上面
牙有点overjet。 另外，她12岁，牙都长满了，没有智齿位置了。
请问大家有没有去看过Dr. Salins， 觉得满意吗？孩子矫正牙齿时有没有拔4只牙齿的
？觉得效果好吗？

Detroit River是个传说，源自Lathander一杆1.5条白鲈的传奇。
自打朋友告诉我5月17号要到底特律，就开始期盼这次钓行。本来这个日子
是DR白鲈高峰的日子，可是今年的严冬推迟了一切。上周的凄风冷雨更是
雪上加霜，使得鱼情变得不可捉摸，Lathander提前探钓也不是很乐观。
周六一大早出发，路径茂密，时间还早，先四处看看。由于最近的暴雨，
茂密水涨4尺，浑浊的急流使得能见度降到3寸，钓鱼几乎成为不可能。转战
几个钓点都没有咬口，碰到的渔民也都一无所获。一个半小时之后决定放弃，
向DR挺进。
得到Lathander和醉鱼的悉心指点，很快找到了伊丽莎白公园和钓点。公园里
有小孩子们的什么比赛，人满为患。路边也停满了车子。转了一圈出来，先去
公园门口的鱼饵店买渔证。结果竟然被告知不卖渔证！无奈只好去附近的沃尔
玛。路程并不远，可是就在快要到达时，路上突然过来一辆火车，慢腾腾半天
开不完，最后还停下来了。这条路上的火车看来臭名昭著，路边还专门有呼吁
签名抗议的牌子。
密西根州的外州渔证真黑，要$75一年，只好买了单天的... 阅读全帖 |

my household. I'm glad to report that, after plenty of practice 15
years ago and again in recent years, I can now recite those tweetle
beetle bottle puddle paddle battle muddles very well. But those are
all for the little ones. As far as I'm concerned, the best Dr. Seuss
verses were not even written by Dr. Seuss himself:

USMLE - Dr. Goljan
首先說，這名字不念gol-dgen，正確念法是gol-'yang，重音在後面，Dr. Goljan 偏好
這樣的純正polish發音。
準備USMLE之前，看到一位前輩分享的心得，Dr. Goljan的上課錄音值得一聽，於是因
緣際會之下也找到了這位神祕名師的錄音檔與講義，本來想說只是試聽看看，沒想到，
一試成主顧！往後最重要的病理複習計畫，竟完全以Goljan的37堂課為主軸規畫！
我還記得第一次聽是快退伍前一次周末值班，在陰暗的值班室裡聽的，挫折感不小，
Goljan上課速度挺快的，從口氣感覺得出來他是挺臭屁的人，很多笑話我也都聽不太懂
，更糟糕的是，Goljan頗喜歡問台下學生問題，我卻因為最基本的發音問題，一直搞不
懂他到底在問甚麼，一直倒帶repeat數次才終於搞懂，不過也因為如此印象特別深刻。
好比說Goljan問台下學生在AIDS病人身上看到anemia要想到甚麼？他停了一會就公布答

有人可能想帮助某一方面，可以用不同的帐号或者注明是给：
1.家人现在度过难关。
2.对Brooklyn hospital discrimniation 的起诉。好像Dr.Wang的民事诉讼案还没有结
案。可以持续关注这个案例，不知道现在的那个律师费是谁在付；现在事态的发展可能
对庭外和解有利。哪怕不能庭外和解，至少可以促使Brooklyn hospital 在法庭上回应
Dr.王的指控。
3.现在Dr.Wang的律师是法庭指派的么？，不知道是否需要更有经验的律师。不管判决
如何，最后的可能性是多少年的监狱？服刑完后会被遣返（只是绿卡？）。个人想法，
现在的目标应该是尽量缩短刑期。Brooklyn hospital解雇Dr.Wang的理由如果是王有精
神方面的原因，如果坐实了那一点的话更本不用坐牢的可能性都有。Act under severe
distress? 不过如果用了这个理由，第2条就会败诉。真是要一个好律师来处理这些。

我去Dr.Wolf培训班的时候，病人是kaplan的旧员工，练了40个case后，真考试时基本
不紧张。除外Dr. Wolf,还有Dr. Lopeos, 南美洲来的，当时在UCSF做骨科的fellow，
他step 1 &2 都是270+，很善于考试，教了不少快速问诊查体写病历的窍门。不过，去
Dr. Wolf的班，最好先把语言和套路练好，否则收获可能不大。
另外，据说最近有变动，你最好多打听一下。
其实，要是能先到teaching hospital做做observationship or externship,最爽。
