所以我也害得跟他一起找，本来在东部已经稳定了，但人家不知哪根筋转了非想去三藩
。反过来想呢，三藩确实有些好的地方，冬天不太冷，夏天不太热，小孩可以整天在户
外玩，对他们的身心健康有好处，华人多，孩子没有IDENTITY 的问题，不管怎么说，
东部一些地区对华人的歧视也还是有的。餐馆多，热闹，可玩的地方多，回国方便。MM
喜欢雪的话，TAHOE 很近是滑雪胜地。三藩地区没有蚊子，波士顿，夏天蚊子还是很
多的，加上冬天的冷，能在户外的时间少很多。
地震是有可能，但毕竟是小概率事件，难道因为飞机会偶尔失实，就不做飞机了吗？
学校差些，但你孩子还小，小学中学家长抓紧点问题不大，而且EMERYVILLE 在东湾，
房子便宜些。 |

1）最担心的是地震了，住了两年我感受过三，四次小震，总盼着LD找到固定工作就赶
紧离开；
2）人太多，中国，印度，中东，墨西哥的尤其多，人多事情就多了，人与人之间也较
其他地方冷漠
些；
3）别住在离海近的城市，否则太潮湿，冬天被子都能拧出水来；
4）房价太贵，院子太小。
5）课后辅导班太多，小孩子学习压力大，竞争也大；
当然好的地方也有很多，比如买东西方便，公园多，交通便利，气候好，等等等等。
还有楼主你不必工作在Emeryville就非得在附近买房子，弯曲的城市都很小，5到10分
钟就可以开过一个城市。Albany的学区好，房价也高些。 |

政府的福利常是政府级别越低福利越好. CITY比州政府好, 州政府福利比联邦政府福利
好. 湾区旁边的Stockton破产和政府福利有很大关系. 好象是只要工作几个月(3个月?)
后就能有LIFETIME医疗保险.不知道破产后还有没有. |

Sun -- Allegro Ballroom - my favorite spot of the week. It's a beautiful
ballroom located in Emeryville. So if you're visiting and not driving, you
have to Bart/Shuttle it or something. (Lessons Beg. 6pm main room, then
smaller studio 7-7:30?. Int lessons 7:30?-8:30 I don't take the classes so
check out their website if interested.) Dancing around 8:30. Early crowd
mixed Beg to Adv. More advanced dancers trot in around 10:30-11:00. Best mix

and leave office at 6pm......
You will get a promotion in a couple of months, because your
job performance will be so much better. :)
Time is money. The time spent in traffic is the time you'd
rather spend in office to achieve better performance, and
then better bonus, salary and promotions. |
