energy is 42 KBTU.
A gallon of gasoline gives about 125 KBTU and requires about 15 KBTU, and
thus net energy is 110 KBTU, more than 2.5 times higher than ethanol.
Ethanol is about $2.02 /gal (after 0.51/gal of tax-payer money subsidy) in
2008 (the credit was reduced to 0.45/gal in 2009), and gasoline is $2.85/gal

小outboard要加添加剂，处理汽油中的ethanol，west marine都有，现在纽约和新泽西
已经买不到纯汽油了，但是宾州某些地方可以买到，网上可以搜到，有些老美专门做的
网站统计，纯汽油的加油站有哪些。
加ethanol对outboard有损害，确实有人人为地分离汽油和ethanol，麻大那个就是好方

发帖数: 2201 | 7 ethanol 对车没有什么坏的影响。但mpg下降一些，燃烧效率没有汽油高。现在的车都能handle至少10%的ethanol。一般的车30%-40%问题也不大，开学校的车，学校的加油站都是E40，40%。 ethanol是植物转换成的燃料，成本本来比汽油高，但是政府有很大的补贴，把价格降到比汽油低。加油站才愿意用。保护环境和减少对外国石油的依赖性。

If you are using E10 and you can run 400 miles per tank, you will have only
about 300 mile is it is E85. If you are considering the difference in the
mileage it goes, E85 is actually more expensive than E10.
E85 has a better octane ratings than E10, but the energy content is much
lower. A gallon of ethanol has about 77 KBTU and a gallon of gasoline has
125 KBTU or more.

专门的容器里，然后由专人回收。现在这个实验室大家都随便往水池里倒，几百毫升的

temperature. If we are using ideal gas as an example (a very much
simplification that has gross error), the higher the gas temperature, the

这个只是对大气CO CO2排放有影响(减少炭排放20-30% )
但是记得以前一个汽车行业的人说, 其实这种添加济对车不好, 只是对大气好.

，10% ethanol几乎是不可能的，因为没有哪个国家有像美国这么多的玉米地可生产
ethanol。。。
我的两辆车都是美国车，2006年和2012年的，油箱上都有10% ethanol compliant的字
样，要是欧洲车，日本车或是老一点的美国车，对加了ethanol的汽油就不是那么有效
