我现在十分困惑，真得感到无能为力。情况是这样的：前几个月面试一个州立大学，是
joint appointment within two departments， 各50%，而且有不少funding支持这个
位子。
我面试还不错，其中一个系（A系）主任在我离开时对我说，我相当适合这个位子，这
个系与我专业背景最match。另一个系(B系）当时还没有系主任，只是一个教授在代理
。回来后我一直在等，但是到现在都没有回应，后来知道问题出在刚上任的B系系主任
上，他想挪用那些钱做其它的研究方向（这样的话，A系一点边都不靠），所以两个系
僵在那里，put me in the middle，其实A系上次都要给我发offer了。
请问各位，难道新系主任有这么大权利，可以推翻上一任系主任与A系决定的招聘的研
究方向？那些funding是支持我面试的方向的，新系主任就可以这样任意挪用做别的？
像这样的情况，我该怎么办？ 有什么途径可以申诉一下呢？其实我不恨B系系主任，他

长话短说：
引擎灯总亮，开始是p2187(Fuel system too lean at idle - bank 1)
于是换了MAF sensor;
过了几天灯又亮，读code是p302（cylinder #2 misfire)，于是把spark-plug和cable
一起换了（当时看到#2的cable非常松，都突出来了，不知道怎么回事）
再过一两周灯还亮，读code是p300（random cylinder misfire)，出现有时候停车熄火
（得油门给点油） ...
下一步该如何？（如果自己可以比较容易做的可以考虑，要不然还是去车铺）
喷油嘴（fuel injector)?
oxygen sensor 影响不到发动机本身（idle时转速忽高忽低）吧？
PCV有关系不?

首先，faulty memory 的可能更多的被 peer pressure 所驱动。。。但 quality
memory 的，会问 “图个啥”，也就是如果不是生存所必需，那么 meaning 是啥？
其次，如果拿买东西做比方吧。。。faulty memory 的通常认为对方会在买完东西以后
争吵。。。但 quality memory 的，一般或多或少避免争吵，因为会留下 bad memory
。。。Instead，下次类似能不买就不买，多一事不如少一事。。。要买也要考虑 less
trouble 首先买个摔不坏的，其他可以将就。
更重要的是，上面这些 memory 不仅影响理性，同时影响情感，甚至潜意识。。。因为
这些是人类的生存本能。。。所以那其实是 faulty memory 创建了一个小环境（因为
是 faulty memory 相对较难被改变，记都记不住），改变了 quality memory 的潜意
识（quality memory 为了减少鸡飞狗跳，也就一定要去适应环境）。。。以至于之后

互理解。
其实本质上而言，faulty memory 和 quality memory 就是两种不同的适应环境的方式
，无所谓绝对的好坏。相互理解更重要。
比如一个很实在的例子，就是版上的 “鸡汤” vs “砒霜”。。。就是老鼠到此一游
来过好几次，咋对付这个不愉快的经历的问题。。。faulty memory 的做法是立马开一
锅鸡汤喝下，然后面红耳赤的当面争论 “哥们我从来没看见过老鼠”。。。quality
memory 的搞法是立马买一吨砒霜备而不用，然后哪天看到一只老鼠就给丫的灌三斤砒
霜。半年后基本确信大部分老鼠都已经挂掉了，至于过去老鼠是不是来过就根本不在意
了，反正被三斤砒霜挂掉的老鼠将来不会再出来溜达就是了。
也就是前面说的。。。Argue with faulty memory, you changed the present。。。

1. Fuel tank empty.
2. Battery discharged (engine rotates slowly)
3. Leaking fuel injector(s), faulty fuel pump, pressure regulator,etc.

5. Ignition components damp or damaged.
6. Worn, faulty or incorrectly gapped spark plugs.
7. Broken, loose or disconnected wires at the ignition coil(s) or faulty

如果车抖得厉害，可能有缺缸。

其实衡水劝退是必须的，因为不是每个娃都能推出来的，推不出来也要给人一条活路不
是。
“pushy mama faulty memory” 也是一样，因为每个人的自信都是有极限的。。。认
知心理学说了，过多记忆和放大不愉快的过去，是导致 depression 的最最重要原因之
一。。。所以正确的做法，是多多 promote pushy mama faulty memory（fiction），
而不要去看娃的成绩（non-fiction）。。。也就是认可 faulty memory 不要认可
