律师， 有些觉得这个案子对他们小不接， 有些律师接电话时非常没有耐心我想问几个
问题， 他们都不想回答，一个劲的催我make appointment 来office 谈， 所以就把这
些也pass了。 找了一个在电话离交谈还可以的， 去了他的office（感觉还是个比较体
面的law firm。看见了有8，9个律师在开圆桌讨论会议呵呵。 但是去了office 以后感
觉没有在电话里热情，进和出他的办公室时， 他坐在椅子上连起身都没有）。问了一
些情况把我的个人信息全记下来哦了。 他交完填一个contingent fee agreement 的委
托书，里面有几点有点concern， 希望有经验的来看看是不是合理。
1）收费问题： 如果赢了，除了他拿1/3外， 还要扣下 expenses of claims and/or
lawsuits including but not limited to: investigation fees, court costs,

bah. these fees are covered by part of broker's rebate. after paying these
fees, broker still has 1000-3000 left usually. it depends on whose fault for

The car registration will be expired in June.
Dealer charged me ($150) four month registration fee starting from the day I
bought the car, meanwhile I got annual renewal registration notice $265
from DMV due in June.
Should I pay the 4 month registration fee?
I do not think Dealer paid that fee either, as the registration fee was paid
by the original owner annually and it is non-refundable.
Anyone knew the rule? Thanks! |

a no fee no point no closing cost refi. You only need to pay the diff if you
get less loan amount in new loan and the interests to old and new lenders.
My clients pay credit card report fee $25 and appraisal fee ( about $
500 - $700 vary by lenders) in the loan process and those fee will be
refunded back to borrower when closing the loan.

贷款1m 拿到了 3.375% 的7年利息 ，买了1.4m的房子
但是发现
escrow fee， lender title insurance,owner title insurance 还要付满多钱的。
加起来小6000 了。
escrow fee 差不多 1500， lender titile insurance 1300, owner title insurance
得将近3000 。
想知道这些fee都是本来要这么多么？ |

withdraw in Europe, both involve International transaction fees (1%-3%)or/

I have reviewed the five ATM transactions which occurred in your account on
January 31, 2011. The two ATM fees that were reimbursed were from the
transactions at HSBC Banks. When HSBC sent the electronic transaction to
Fidelity, they included the ATM fee amount that was part of the total
transaction. The remaining banks did not provide Fidelity the amount of fee
included in the total ATM transaction; therefore, Fidelity is unable to
reimburse any ATM fee for these transactions.

看到有人说在homeaway订很合算，我刚看的时候也觉得好，可是仔细看rate，发现很多
地方有minimum stay,有的地方那个list的价钱是一个人的，每多个人要加钱，而且很
多地方有cleaning fee，都要100多，我想问这个cleaning fee是怎么回事？是
checkout时都要交的吗？也就是说即使list的是80/night, 不算人多加钱，最后结帐是
80+Tax+cleaning fee? 这样算来，如果我只住一个晚上并不划算啦 （为了省路上时间
，打算在大岛上每天换地方住）？在expedia上查的condo 大概150(include tax and
fee). 估计多住比较划算？

collect the similar amount as SVTN, which is now $488k, with 2.9% paypal fee
, it would be 14.15k fee charged by paypal, which equals many medical and
living supplies that could have been delivered to the victims.

最近有公司邀请我给他们提供consulting 服务。我在生物医学方向，问了一些教授，
得到的rate大致是如下：
如果是hourly的，一般是$300-$500一个hour，Assistant Professor在300左右，Full
Professor 在$500左右。
如果是按天给的，一般一天是$1000-$2000，Assistant Professor在$1000左右，Full
Professor 在$2000左右。
如果是长途国际旅行，公司提供商务舱机票。但也有教授说他们就算长途（回中国），
公司也只付经济舱机票。
另外travel day，就说在路上的时间付不付consulting fee有点出入。有些教授travel
day 也charge full rate，有些教授坐经济舱回国也只是收回国之后... 阅读全帖 |

我说了，各州各地不一样，新车一般一次注册3年，再加上one time的tag fee，自己可
以去当地的DMV网站查一下，一般200足够了，但是dealer替你办这些事情的手续费是另
外收取的，这就是所谓doc fee，从50到599甚至更多，这部分就看你自己的砍价本领了
，不过一般dealer说多少就是多少，根本不跟你讲价，全款购车的可以自己去上牌照，
doc fee就可以省了 |

罚了几十刀late fee. 然后给city court写了封信，回复说，好吧，既然你都补办好了
，不上庭的话罚$50就了事了。
想着一般这种事不都是上庭出示有效的手续就dismiss了么，所以还是决定上庭。
结果类，上庭1分钟就dismiss了。但是让交50刀 dismiss fee。我晕，这不是诈骗么？
想着法从人口袋里掏钱？？？
以前那个county从来都是牌照更新了或者其他被dismiss的案件，就直接走人了；现在
住的这个county真变态啊，去的那个city court 居然也是州立最富的city之一。
请问还有哪里要交这个 dismiss fee的？ |

可以不交一分钱走人
如果你plea guilty即使judge最后waive你的ticket,你也得交court fee.
因为你当时交给法庭的不是你在开罚单的时候有合法牌照的证据,而是你事后补办
牌照的证据,所以法庭默认你plea guilty.这种情况当然得交court fee.你要不交钱,
你当时就得说你在开罚单之前已经买了sticket,但是忘记贴上了,反正法官没法当场查,
这样才能不交钱走人了.
所以啊,上法庭不但要对法庭的游戏规则了如指掌,还得胆大心细,善于说谎.
当然,你这还是好的,才50刀,大部分court要近200刀court fee |

比如NY最多doc fee 75刀；有些州没有上限，比如佛州，dealer可以漫天要价。
Title和registration是给MVD的，要看你的州的注册费和税率是多少。 |
