松鼠都特别聪明的，而且身体技能特别强。
反正基本上我设计机关松鼠都是花几天到一个星期就
找到漏洞了。我以前被打败好多次，特别沮丧。
直到后来用 security camera 记录松鼠是如果破解，
这样可以给我反馈如何改进系统。终于有一次，松鼠
吃不到了。一开始还有特别有韧性的松鼠来闯关，
后来松鼠也学精了，试都不试了，直接站在 feeder
下面等其他鸟吃东西的时候捡掉地上的。
这种不浪费粮食的精神还是要提倡的。 |

家里的游泳池自己维护了一年，可以说现在有一点点经验了。
我感觉保持游泳池水质最重要有两点1)保持pump每天要循环，我夏天到现在都是6个小
时；2)水里面的chlorine含量要保持1-2ppm。这两者一旦有一个不满足，水就开始变得
cloudy，或者长algae。
保持chlorine含量的关键是要有stabilizer，否则你添加再多的chlorine也会被阳光分
解。
ph值在春天open的时候要调，后面基本上会非常稳定，不用每次都测。保持ph稳定，一
定要把alkalinity调整对，alkalinity不够，ph会浮动。
春天open的时候事情最多，主要是close的时候会drain掉很多水，新添加的水中没有
chemical，所以open的时候要到pool company去测水样，把需要添加的东西，比如
stabilizer和alkalinity都加够。后面就基本上不用再动了。
正常运行的时候，主要是保持pump正常循环，以及chlorine正常供给。我大概一个半月
换一次filter中的DE, chlorine是通过一个feeder注入，大概两周换4个3" tab。其他... 阅读全帖 |

我们北方冬天时pool都close了。气温高，循环时间就长一些，低就短一些。太冷不用
就close。
那个是pump的basket，不时要清理一下。压力主要是跟你的filter有关。我的是DE
filter，需要添加DE powder，加之前要backwash，把里面的DE都冲干净。然后加入DE
，读一下当时的起始压力。压力增加6-10psi就bump一下，如果bump后压力很快升高到
起始压力+10左右的话，说明DE已经饱和，没有办法再附着新的杂质，你需要重新
bashwash，再加入新的DE。我一般是1个月换一次。你的如果 是sand filter的话，需
要不时backwash。google你的filter的model number，然后下载说明书仔细读一下。
标的不是很清楚，不过看上去像是chlorine feeder，你要买一些chlorine tab (3")放
进去。这种是缓释的chlorine，可以保持3－4周。不过前提是你的水中要有足够的
stabalizer，否则chlorine进去太阳一晒就分解了。

做home automation。用了几天，感觉还不错。先从控制灯开始，下一不准备上４way开
关，然后security camera。如果好用的话，准备换空调开关，再搞个zwave的滴灌弄花
还有fish feeder，这样出去玩就可以远程控制了。不过不想上zwave锁，还是不放心
web的安全性。

is the easiest way to maintain chlorine level in a pool. I've never had any

for winter. In hot places when pool water is seldom drained, CYA level gets
high easily with chlorine tablets.
Yes the tablets are much easier to use than other forms of chlorine.
You can find exact numbers on the web, but roughly, for each tablet,
depending on whether it's Di-xxx or Tri-xxx form of CYA, about 40%- 50% of
the tablet is CYA.

我的是每3-4周shock一次，平常用chlorine feeder放tablet。一般维持chlorine含量
，一个星期平均消耗1-1.5个tab。池子是16x32，大概21000gal。一个月shock用$6-$9
，tablet就几块钱。水质一直挺好，今年还从来没有出现algea
我现在两个星期才测一次，每次就测chlorine就够了，ph一直非常稳定，都不用测。
没有别的办法，只有不断filter，不断backwash，把里面的固体过滤出来。
另外，你可以买algeacide，比shock更长期有效 |

你说的大概对南方池子适用。北方的每年close要放掉不少水，开春补水shock的时候用

16x32 ft, 大概24,000 gal。pump是Hayward superpump 1.5HP，一天自动开5-6个小时
。每周放2－3个3" tab到autofeeder，三周倒1-2gal的liquid shock(暴雨之后也倒1-
2gal)，一个月换一次DE(Hayward EC65)。大概两周用vacuum (Kreepy Krauly)吸一两
天。一两周量一次ph/FC(Taylor K-2005)。不时倒一次skimmer basket，水底有树叶偶
而捞一下。去年修liner折腾得很，今年基本上没有花什么时间。
听起来是CYA太低。我第一年的时候FC总是很低，最后加足了stabilizer后才正常的。
如果你有auto feeder的话，把流量调大一点。自己测的同时也可以到pool company再
测一下来确认。 |

owning a pool is nothing to be afraid of. it is just like owning a new
machine in your house (a car, a snow blower, a mower etc). all you need to
do is to read a little bit about it. once you know how it works, you will
have more time to enjoy it and less time to work on it.
my suggestion, let a pool company do the first closing or opening. it costs
about 200-300 per opening/closing, but you will have chance to ask them all
questions and learn more about yoru pool - where is the pump, where is ... 阅读全帖 |

here is what I am going to suggest:
the first thing to do, take water sample, go to a local pool store and run a
free water test.
I bet your TA level is very low. The first thing is to add TA to the desired
level. If you don't have enough TA, your PH level will drift widely. I am
sure that's what happened. You have to do this first, because all other
chemicals assume the normal PH level to function.
The second thing to check is CYA level. I bet is is low too. Without CYA/

ispsector是一个老白，从进门就一直黑着脸，存心想找碴。中途因为不确定，还给他
的上级打了n个电话。最后终于找出一个理由，说breaker是20amp的，而房间里部分电
路是14号15amp的（underground feeder是10号 20amp的）。然后我问我可不可以当时
换上，it不肯，非要下次再来。
他妈的来一次至少要算半个小时工作时间，费用是103美元。这厮的hour rate是206美
元啊。city这是做黑心肠的垄断生意，他妈的。接电的材料费也不过一百多，光permit
就要花三百了。真后悔去申请permit。
是san jose，不知道别的地方electrical permit是不是也这么贵。 |
