所有大的投行都好,比大部分fund也好,能比BB好的financial公司为数不多.这里的好包
括base bonus和benefit.
downside是他们的系统和技术比较私有,不是外面常用的.不少legacy的东西需要维护的
重写. 里面的开发工具你没法挑,别想着open source,搞定手上的活要紧. 总体
financial application那块的还是非常挣钱的.挑组的时候避开烙印老板.不建议去
tradebook,钱途没有其他好.
你进去后有个trick的判断哪个组的legacy的code比较多,如果那个组维护的app的界面
是最老的基于*big的C/fortran或者gtk写的,则是老代码,如果是基于javascript的
rapid界面,就是新代码.经过training课之后你自然会分辨.
个人认为一个好老板远比维护legacy code之类的重要,这你就只能通过里面的人打听了.

wrong, but financial department refused to change the code. Finally, I
called insurance company and explained what happened and they waived the
charge for me--but it is rare. I think you need to contact financial
department first and ask for supervisor--if all does not work--try insurance
company.

刚才电话看能不能claim回来，对方说这种financial charge不像late payment fee，

院是这样的，寄一份申请表给我，主要有一个Income的表格，我需要填上"Gross wage"
,"Interest & Dividends", "Self-Employment income"等等以及总收入。然后附上我
最近一年的1040表寄回去。有1040，别的证明就不用了。他们就会根据材料决定给不给
我资助。
现在我有个问题，我今年还没有1040表，也还没有整理出全部的收入。应该就把去年4
月file上去的08年的1040给他们吧。那income表中我可以填的08年的数字吗，也就跟
1040表显示的一样？还是必须得填目前的收入？——我的情况是，如果用most recent
tax year的收入申请大概就符合，用目前的工资申请好像就过了贫困线了。
另外还有一项是要圈选monthly income的。那我可以用前面填的08年的总收入除以12么
？可是他们要是打电话给我公司问我现在一个月挣多少，那就对不上了。
