I have a very large table with 1 billion rows and 12 columns, which are int,
double, varchar. I need to know the distinct values for each volume.
the table has columns :
id id_1 id_2 id_3 id_4 id_5 id_6 id_7 id_8 id_9 id_10 id_11
SELECT COUNT(distinct a.id) as num_dist_id
FROM my_large_table as a

关键是 heap is not the right data structure for this. yeah, you can insert
in logN and find min in O(1), but it is tricky to remove one element out of
the window. you have to have some sort of index to the position in the
heap from the position in the sliding window. far worse than a queue, or
circular buffer, or even stack etc. |

医生只是说看到亮点，我也不知道怎么回事，就做了那个maternit21的测试。后来看了
mm的贴子才猜想可能是echogenic bowel。
现在等结果，要8-10天。和楼主一起加油，希望我们的测试结果都是好的。只要我们有
信心，宝宝一定会健健康康的！

许多很亮的白点。要求马上去做基因测试。医生推荐做MaterniT21测试。据说是一种新
技术，准确率和羊水穿刺一样，但是只要验血即可。结果大约8-10天出来。我看病的诊
所是第一次order这样的测试，样品要寄到加州测试。
两周后，也就是上周四，我打电话去诊所，告诉我结果还没出。上周五，去看医生，医
生说已经两周了，结果应该出来了，让秘书打电话去lab问。lab customer support说
他们没有confirmation code,不能透露任何信息，更别说是否有结果。然后说
confirmation code应该是health department给诊所，并且给他们(lab)，但是现在他
们也没有拿到这个confirmation code。诊所的秘书说完全不知道有这个confirmation
code的存在，并且告诉我们他们已经按照程序fax我的信息到health department。但是
