bug 新的firmware修复了 而且提升了性能 你现在刚开始用，攀上没有东西，是升级最

I think those problem need to debug hardware first. Then consider firmware.
二阶数字滤波和模拟电路的二阶反馈loop差不多。往往调试起来很费劲。
而且有的看着容易，一旦量产，什么乱七八糟的问题都会出现。
By the way, you sure the firmware guy will code this kind of function? How
come the firmware guy in my company only code the register....Maybe I am
wrong.

电子产品有两种，硬件主导或者软件主导。
前者比如电源，驱动系统之类，做硬件的指挥一切，写firmware的需要读很多数值，输
出一些东西，通讯，之类。但是以硬件需要为准。
软件主导比如手机，芯片就那么几块，山寨一个硬件方案很简单。但是firmware可以写
得无比复杂。
也有两者都偏重的，比如汽车燃油控制，比如激光打印等等，你想想其实是很复杂的系
统。
我会的firmware在CS专业的人看来不值一提，就是一些逻辑么。最近有个新同事做软件
，说你们程序太简单了，我帮你们产品上搞个操作系统怎么样。不行，被搞硬件的人否
决了。
在google，微软，肯定是要反过来。 |

That should be avoided in firmware. Many firmware has limited stack and
recursion uses stack.

的集成的perpetual，还有就是片外的peripheral。
embedded的应该是包括了firmware了。
对你来说，应该是懂硬件，做firmware应该不是什么问题。但是我觉得你得多学习一下
os的东西。特别是RTOS。 |

现在所谓的 firmware, 一般有特定的产品， 比如说消费类电子或者医疗设备或者芯片
供应商的 on-chip firmware， 工作在 ISM 频段的 (~400M Hz, 2.4G Hz) 蓝牙， Z-
Wave, ZigBee 等， 一般会问一些概念性的问题， 当然如果你没有这方面的背景估计
就很难回答了。
个人的建议还是编程算法为主， 复习一下实时操作系统， 任务调度， 进程线程优先
级等， 中断中的处理（上半部/下半部）， 寻址等 。。
当然很多公司的职位描述把 Embedded 也混成 "Firmware" 那就具体情况具体分析了。
如果你感兴趣有时间， 可以看一下 POST (Power-on Self-test) 启动和如何诊断硬件
， 据我所知， 如果是产品开发， 职位要求比较高的很多时候会问一下 |

你这么牛逼，挣得应该也比FB new grad多，但你不想想在firmware行业混到你这样得
多少年。
至于利润，没人比资本家看得清。
你也是炒股的人，华尔街和VC的钱都投到哪里去你不是不知道。
为啥现在SoC vendor合并潮？为啥现在给app加个button都挣得比firmware多？
技术行业从来都不是技术骨干说了算的，投资人钱往哪扔人就得往哪跑。
不用在这摆技术名词。楼主的答案其实很明白。能看出来他目前并没有对某一方面特别
感兴趣。要是CS基础知识过关，能找个general software的当然好，今后的career
path也更宽。要没有别的选择，先进去再说，把python, sql, test framework先练好
，多参与debug，少做manual test，转developer没什么问题。 |

前一阵子在新蛋买了Kingston 40G SSD，终于等到支持TRIM的Firmware，由于这款是
Intel的X-25-V SSD的马甲，有高手改了intel的Firmware。我自己刷新成功了。
注意：想要Windows7自动支持TRIM目前只有用Windows7自带的硬盘驱动，Intel的
Matrix Storage Management驱动不行。

Put the new "install.img" on the root of a usb stick and put it in the
machine.
From Windows "Telnet 192.168.1.123" or whatever the IP is of your media

type the command "kill -6 1" , and watch it update itself

it comes only with Line 1 in configuration, needless to say its Firmware
version is 2.0.10.
To add Line 2 in this ATA, I need a pair of Firmware with the same
version, such as 3.1.19 basic (non-SE) and 3.1.19SE. The version # doesn’t
matter, just needs to be the same version.
I have to use the basic Firmware to upgrade and the SE to turn this one
line ATA into two line, the greatest SPA1001.
