Leo学园艺四--focal point and ornaments
就跟画国画一样，园艺要有笔墨的浓淡轻重，主次分明。如果一眼望去找不出个抓住视
线的focal point，别人就不知道你想表达的是什么，就像国画没有了主体，文章没有
了中心。人们鉴赏你的院子，视线会在每个focal point处做短暂的停留，focal point
附近的植物被作为一个组合来欣赏，随后再到下一个focal point。
你可以挑选具有一定规模的植物来作为focal point，也可以是雕塑，躺椅，喷泉或岩
石。我采用了bird bath来作为我院子的一个focal point--既美观，又可以吸引鸟儿来
饮水和梳洗羽毛。每次看到，心情都很好，觉得是如此的贴近大自然。
像Bird bath这样的ornaments除了可以作为focal points外，还可以给院子带来情趣。

正对着过道，结构又比较独特，所以考虑设计成focal point。初步考虑了三个方案。

length. For shorter focal length, the safe exposure time (for minimize the
hand motion blur) is longer. A common rule of thumb for estimating how fast
the exposure needs to be for a given focal length is the one over focal
length rule, but that is for full frame camera or 35mm format sensor.
For cell phone camera, the sensor is much smaller. For iphone4s/5, it is

Aperture area
The amount of light captured by a lens is proportional to the area of the
aperture, equal to:
\mathrm{Area} = \pi \left({f \over 2N}\right)^2
Where f is focal length and N is the f-number.
The focal length value is not required when comparing two lenses of the same

adhesion的形貌和intracelluar actin network的3D组织有关，而actin network的形
成又和ECM的力学和几何形貌有关。比如在表面上，fibrinectin coated surface的大
小，形状都影响actin network形貌和细胞形状。从二维到三维, 拓扑上的改变更为剧
烈。所以看不见通常在二维成像上定义的focal adhesion斑块也属正常。
可能更重要的问题应该是调控二维表面focal adhesion形成和稳定性的蛋白们是否也调
控三维cell-ECM相互作用和cell migration. 在三维, 过去已经知道会形成
pseudopodia. 这个结构调控细胞migration, 而这个结构的形成又被focal adhesion
proteins调控。如果宽泛地把通常的二维focal adhesion和三维pseudopodia看作同一

距离上次在美国恶土国家公园(Badlands National Park）经历这场惊心动魄的暴风雨
已经10个月了，当时的景象仍然历历在目。心血来潮旧图新修。
好久没来贴图了，这半年来经历了苦赶毕业论文、答辩、带着一大家子搬家与公路旅行
、以及开始新的工作，忙碌充实着。半年来旅行次数不算多，但也有些收获。
二月底与施老师等一众中西部摄友再次汇聚Apostle Island, Lake Superior湖岸线，
二访了一次冰洞。施老师实验做了一半，没带脚架没带睡袋，拉着一帮小伙伴抄起SUV
就赶过来的精神令人感动。
二月中与六月两次游玩了加州。其中六月那次是带着一大家子6口人的1800英里的毕业
公路旅行
六月搬家到了华盛顿州，趁上班之前两次探访了Mt Rainier雪山。

一、注意“长老”不是“老年人”可能是年轻人或中年人。请长老抹油祷告是很正常的
，任何相信圣经的教会都会有人相信并实践的。
二、我不清楚怎样解释‘“圣经”“新约”明确要求女人在教会要“闭口不言”’。
我不知道这个教导是不是绝对的，或“明确”。
例如，哥林多前书十一章，
4 凡男人祷告或是讲道（讲道或作说预言下同），若蒙着头，就羞辱自己的头。 5 凡
女人祷告或是讲道，若不蒙着头，就羞辱自己的头。因为这就如同剃了头发一样。 6
女人若不蒙着头，就该剪了头发。女人若以剪发剃发为羞愧，就该蒙着头。
这些经文意为，女人可以讲道（先知预言）只有蒙头（要不就剪头发）就可以了。与哥
林多前书十四章34-35节的教导有异。我没时间具体查原文希腊文怎么写的。

果只是focal seizure没有AMS, CT不是最好的initial imaging modality.
hypertensity in right frontal cortex没看到片片，不好下结论。hypertensive出血
一般是extending from basal ganglion to the frontal lobe with
intraventricular extension.
如果是focal right frontal cortex hyperdensity 的differential是tumor (
including ganglioglioma, PXA,or GBM), DNET, carvernoma. 或者老年人有没有
amyloid angiopathy hemorrhage. 或者是不是这人抽的时候摔到了，把脑袋给跌了，
focal cerebral contusion?

搞清楚什么是focal length和focus point没？他们对DOF的影响知道吗？
focal length(焦距)是镜头的本征性能，衡量镜头的屈光能力，表现在照片上，就是视
场大小。相同光圈条件下，focal length的值越大，DOF越小，背景虚化越强。
focus point是相机到聚焦点的距离，也就是相机到拍摄物的距离。相同光圈条件下，
focus point越近，DOF越小，背景虚化越强。而且在最小聚焦距离到几十厘米的范围内
，对背景虚化效果很明显，即便用5.6的光圈。
第一张富士的站在好几米开外拍的和手机机快要贴上去拍的杯子、小花比？有点科学精
神好不好，要比就在同一条件下比。 |
