CBS的驻外代表之一Lara Logan， 特别激动“历史时刻”埃及的革命运动，自由运动，
去现场采访，结果被革命者轮奸了。
她在那里的镜头说：" This is what these people have been waiting for. ...
This is about freedom. ..."
在开罗广场上当场被好多人轮奸。而且无数手机拍她裸照。
差点就给弄死了。
结果回来以后还不吸取教训，继续觉得自己做的事很有意义。

他一直同情支持叙利亚反政府武装，他把恐怖分子当作freedom fighter.
在2011年，他曾经被另一个反叙利亚武装绑架过44天，那个伊斯兰极端组织
处决了被绑架的一个摄影师，他倒是没被杀，还被放了。结果被释放之后，
还不吸取教训，继续为freedom fighter唱好，继续在那个地区采访，
最终，求仁得仁了，被自由斗士割了头。
记得几年前那个Daniel Pearl吗，也是个记者，极度liberal.
非常支持极端伊斯兰力量，他一直认为他们也是liberal,
只要他同情支持他们，在新闻报道里极力为极端穆斯林说好话，他
就是他们的朋友了。结果呢，被砍头了。

ELECTRONIC CHARTING 学习，我的一个患者是DIRECT ADMIT， 来的时候WITH FOLEY.
我们医院的规定是患者要换成我们医院的FOLEY. 患者不高兴，因为是来之前新换的
FOLEY, 我打了电话，给医生要医嘱。 我的PRECEPTOR 不在，我就让CHARGE 和我一起
去，指导我。他是个男生，有17年的经验。我们进了病房，给患者交待了一番，患者不
高兴，然后我们说是一生的ORDER，患者就让我进行了。当插的时候，我还不紧张，反
正有了尿液，就好了，可是我插啊插啊，就是没有，CHARGE 还对BLADDER 压呀，还是
没有，他就告诉我，没有看见尿液决不能BLOW BALLOON.容易TRAUMA TISSUE. 他就让我
PULL FOLEY OUT AND TRY AGAIN LATER.

不愧是小K老师！
Foley选人的标准很简单，只要能招生，管你是不是智障。他选猪哥是因为Y永远在招生
的路上，他和市长有隙是觉得Y招生不大出力了，他选麻丝厂是因为觉得Y也很勤奋，应
该是招生好手....然后这个蛮干型智障直接把招生带到玩弟之下。
而奇粪兄弟，确实是招生的奇才，高中生的人生导师，有志青年的指路明灯！From the
court straightup to the jail,也是我饿足球队的signature style! Foley估计现在
做梦都能梦见奇粪兄弟当年flip市长敲定的人的场景，如果把当年的市长换成如今的金
宝，那就是Foley现在梦寐以求的强心针，催情药！

强调athlete是整体，什么AD如果不给blank check，教练也没戏啊之类的。
Ron Zook谈到了为什么Foley不会今年fire muschamp的原因：当年他被fire以后，
foley找市长，市长首先问的就是为什么两年半就fire Ron Zook，然后要求Foley至少
给他三年的时间。所以Foley现在不会fire Muschamp，不然别的教练也不敢来，即使他
输给Georgia Southern（也不是不可能哦，11年他们曾经给巴马制造过小麻烦）。另外
一个问题就是，他当年fire zook，是因为市场上有市长，现在市场上没有市长，Chip
Kelly原来表达过兴趣，可惜人家move on了。

how do you know your son has reflux degree 4 if you refused the VCUG?
The procedure of VCUG is invasive: that's because they use a foley catheter.
I don't think this hurt at all. Your ped used a foley catheter
when he diagnosed the UTI, didn't he?
Each time when there is a doubt about the UTI, an insersion of foley
catheter might be cosidered, I think.
Actually, my concern about the VCUG is the X_ray.
But It is the only test that can diagnose reflux.

能安慰自己，我家是小子，一定会长好的。
现在每天要吃一定剂量的抗生素预防尿路感染，一旦感染了对肾的伤害很大，专家说我
们要定期检查，如果到三岁还不好就要做手术，不知道有没有妈妈知道这样的病例？我
们现在每天喂药也是折磨宝宝，可是其他什么也做不了。

not reschedule。
搞的foley 4点半开招待会，脸都是青的，最后发的声明是postponed indefinitely ，

Step3考场壮烈回来。第一天挺累人，最后一个block甚至做到有心无力状，看着题反应
不过来，导致来不及做完。非常没有信心能否通过。所以match之前先考Step3的童鞋，

MCQ没有资格说，CCS有一点小感受，拿出来分享下。大家请轻拍砖。
复习资料：
UW 52 online cases : 基础。最好复习早起找高手一起过一遍，尽快摸熟软件，进入
状态。第二遍找一位水平相近童鞋过一遍，不断总结protocol. 考前迅速做一遍，熟练
运用protocol.
UW 41 offline cases: 我当时和partner每个case仔细做一遍，虽然不像online有反馈
，但对练临床思维，补充protocol非常有帮助。最后考试与41 case有异曲同工之处，
遇到复杂case也不慌神。

首先非常感谢ACAP的帮助，让我们在NYHQ能一直有机会。我来到NYHQ医院做了一个
月的OB. 虽然知道这个机会来之不易而且还有很多XDJM在报名排队，我在来之前还是有
些犹豫。因为可以在我所在的城市里的教学医院做OB，为什么要离开家人和工作，来到
一个社区医院做呢？其实来到第一天的见闻就打消了我所有的顾虑，一个月确实挺值的
，只是没有机会再做长一些时间。
NYHQ位于法拉盛区（Flushing），医院大厅标注着英文、中文、韩文、俄文等等，
足可以看出医院的多元化（diversity）。第一天先参加orientation和infectious
control training， 然后去街对面GME办公室递交application form等paperwork，再
回到医院办理ID卡，到五楼找chief resident报道。一批observer一般有四人， 两周

"为什么有了Foley catheter还要有suprapubic catheter? 尿两边都排吗?"
应该是手术前插了FOLEY CATHETER,手术时切除全部或部分PROSTATE然后插上suprapubic

) catheter,然后FOLEY REMOVAL, 两个不是同时WORK的吧? |

发帖数: 355 | 43 换foley，你可以把旧的clamp 1个小时，然后再撤旧的同时换新的。其实怎么做都行，
目的是让膀胱里存点尿液。插FOLEY时没有URINE RETURE是不行的。
年老的女性患者插FOLEY的时候，用IODINE SWABS压紧皮肤使点劲擦，有时候（据说不
是所有的时候）尿道口处会冒个小泡泡，把手里的iodine swab插进去做个标记，这是
本版绿豆家的领导以前提到的，我试了几次倒是都成功了，再此感谢一下：-）））

year as a new graduate nurse.
1st thing happened with a patient admitted with hemauria. He complained
abdominal pain and decreased urine output.I called MD, MD told me give
dilaudid, of course it didn't work. I went home with questions. 2nd day back
, night shift nurse told me she flushed foley and there is blood clots
blocked the foley, flush and suction it out, then urine flowed, bladder
emptied, then pain disappeared. |

北大问题深层次的原因，我的观察：
第一，主流的问题是京师大学堂的官学传统。
这次北大120周年校庆，来了110多所外国名校校长，130多所国内大学校长，还有
大批现任和前任副国级官员。各级领导接待，指定教员学生出席捧场，是北大科研人员
最大的负担。只能等夜深人散以后做事。
第二，是全盘西化的西学传统。
从教授到学生以追逐西方名家为时尚，不知即使是诺奖科学家的成果也多半是二十
到三十年前的工作，不知道当代的前沿在哪里。这和中科大学风截然相反。
第三才涉及当年五四运动的遗风。
关心国事，但是闹事本事远大于建设本事。真正有批判思想的如当年的李大钊，鲁
迅，毛泽东，在北大多半被边缘化。办实事，不如找清华，交大学生。攻尖端不如科大
，哈军工(国防科大)，南大。只有造舆论可以用北大。
