the eastern side of the Sierras.
Western side of sierra generally receives more rain fall, and thus, is
mostly for green plants and trees.

10月2日 Backpacking， 从River Trail （Agnew Meadows Trailhead）出发，cut 到
John Muir Trail，经Garnet Lake，Ruby Lake，Emerald Lake，夜宿 Thousand
Island Lake。
10月3日 沿Pacific Crest Trail 返回Agnew Meadows，宿Mammoth Lakes。
10月4日 Road trip. 沿395北上到 June Lake Loop，然后南返沿Hwy 168 到South
Lake， North Lake 观Fall foliage，回LA。

发帖数: 2868 | 24 其实我挺喜欢玩的，估计密版的人都知道，哈哈。去年劳动节去了北密, upper
peninsula, 但叶子都是绿色的，感觉不过瘾。今年打算10月份的第一个礼拜开车再去
北密，以及加拿大那边转转。计划在up camping for 2 nights. 我现在准备带
1.camping tent
2.air mattress
3.bug/bear spray
4.deer alert/whistle
5.hammer(for getting the screws of the tent into the ground)
我现在想知道还需要带个high beam flashlight吗？我之前晚上camping, 用车灯照亮
就可以了。如果需要的话，买哪种比较好？also, 有必要再弄个outdoor gps吗？因为
这次我想去那边玩的时候顺便再拍拍照片，所以应该就我一个人去了，不找人。如果一
个人单独去的话，还有什么需要注意的吗？知道那边鹿多，而且很有可能为了拍照会起
早贪黑，所以我已经买了2个防鹿的了, 呵呵

kq, no one will know exactly which date the peak is going to happen. The
condition of the foliage mainly depends on the weather, sometimes it happens
a little early, other times, it happens a little later.
having said that, typically, if u go to the UP between the last wkend of
sept and the 2nd wkend of october, you will have a decent chance to see the
fall color of UP, which is absolutely gorgeous.

发帖数: 2868 | 30 其实没有人能知道每年什么时候是去北密看秋色最好的时间, 有些时候根本就没有什么
peak，去年应该就是没有peak的年份。一般来说foliage network上面已经是moderate
color就可以了。而且秋色好坏还要看10月份的天气，如果刮风，下雨或者降温都会影
响秋色的好看程度。
10月份的第一个周末到第2个周末之间是看秋色最好的时间。如果非要周末去的话，俺
一直坚持10月份第一个周末去。我宁愿去看moderate,甚至是low, 而不愿意因为一场大
风而看past peak. |

事情不单单是时间，天气也很重要. 刮风下雨什么的会让景色差很多，所以很多时候就
是碰大运. 过去的3年(12,13,14)，只有12年的最赞，其他2年都是一般般，尤其是13年
，不辞劳苦的开到野猪山的lake of the clouds, 看到的居然是满山大雾... |

不过除了时间，天气也很重要. 12,13,14年，连着去了3次，就是12年的最好看，13年
大老远开到野猪山的lake of the clouds, 看到的居然是满山大雾。去年因为刮风下雨
，景色也一般.
建议lz去之前看看天气预报，如果去之前那边刮风下雨，或者去的那几天天气不太好,
景色会大打折扣. |

1.3-day is too tight for this trip. Road safety is a big concern.
2. it is too far and the peak color is hard to catch (usually the forecast
only accurate in one week)
3. Weather may be concern. Snow may be rare but possible. Rain and overcast
is the major issue.
4. If you really want to check the realtime color, go find some online
webcam.
5. You can find very beautiful lookout spots in north MN. The foliage is
equally impressive, especially near Lusten/Tofte, Cascade River SP, |

I believe you also I never been to lac du flambeau region but I drove along
high 53 in WI one year. The fall color was just beautiful between eau
clairie and spooner. I think the foliage is much vivid and romantic than
that in MN.
Where did you go on Keweenaw Peninsula? Did you drive up to the top of the
Brockway Mt right inside Copper Harbor? How's color there? |

一般10.1时就都高峰了啊 今年偏晚？
metro has some nice roadside foliage sections but you have to wait another 2
-4 weeks. Duluth is a good place to see nice colors but the peak may be 2-3
weeks away.

the woods deep in the Superior National Forest, or rent a lakeshore cabin
to enjoy the fall color:)

The color was just past peak. Most maple leaves fell but it's still pretty
over there.

（Fall Foliage 非常的Fantastic ！很遗憾没去Door County）
但大半年的冬天也是最最最最最最难受的。。。。（风大雪多，很恐怖。。。。）
另外，税很高， 尤其是Property tax。 MO的税就很高了， WI更变态， 如房产税应该
是这的两
倍吧 （2.8%）
为啥去SAM's呢？你那里应该离COSTCO更近些吧。 象我原先住的地2M地有个SAM 30＋才到
COSTCO....

着应该很不错。
风大雪大我不怕，反正又不每天出门。风雪天在家里蹲着更显得家里温馨啊。
消费税比较低啊，而且食品没有税。不过这些是小头啦，Property tax 才是大头，有
时候想着干脆不要买房子了！
我住shorewood 那一片，costco更远一些啊。你原来肯定住南边的。我去北面那个sams
才到 |

女生的大腿一样。26岁前都蛮紧的。结果26以后就开始松了。30过了就合不拢了，开始
空了。
或者跟我的肌肉一样。开始是胸肌，后来是A+ cup，再后来什么都没有了。 |
