I treated groups of transgenic mice with a few chemicals for inhibiting
cancer but noticed one chemical may reduce the activity of insulin. A
direct consequence should be higher blood glucose level/increased insulin.
But the experiment has been completed and there is not much chance to
convince my boss to repeat an experiment for measure blood glucose level. I

I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes at week 29-30. So now need to
monitor glucose level. My doctor told meto monitor 1hour or 2hour glucose
level after meal. And the target level is 140 or below for 1hr and 120 or
below after 1hr. I was reading some posts yesterday and many people
mentioned that the 1hr target should be 120... Did my doctor gave me the
wrong information?

1. Count 1 hour from 1st bite of each meal;
2. Fasting glucose: <99
3. 1 hour glucose after meal: < 135
4. Suggestions: Don't sit there after each meal, trying to move around, try
15-20 mins walking.
I walk 25 mins after lunch & dinner, depending on my meeting schedule. I
used to walk 30-45 mins after meals, but feel uncomfortable on lower belly,
then I slow down and cut the exercise time.

endocytosis相关的蛋白后，发现细胞对glucose的转运降低，怎么解释这个想象?
看了一些文献，我觉得抑制这个蛋白的表达，可能会导致细胞表面的转运受体增多，那
么应该是加速glucose吸收啊。
请牛人赐教。多谢 |

coupled transporter. Changes happen in single transporter can not determine
the overall glucose transport efficiency. |

但是如果你当时sac 老鼠的时候没有fast， 那么需要很大的N per group 才能检测到
overall的区别
老鼠隔三差五就会去啃一口mouse chow， 所以blood glucose 变化会比较大 除非你的
药像streptozotocin这种强效。 |

接送我去做2-hour glucose了。今天结果出来，血糖都在正常范围内，（fasting70，1
小时103，2小时75），医生说暂时不用担心，到24周再检查一下。
我的问题是，如果不是妊娠糖尿病，那尿里的糖是不是表明我的身体有其它问题？医生
说可能是我吃了很甜的东西，可是尿检之前（都是早上），我都只吃了煮鸡蛋，喝清水
，连碳水化和物都没吃，前一天晚上也只是吃了平常的饭菜，有米饭，但是没有饮料和
甜点。而且怀孕之前从来没有在尿里发现过糖。
姐妹们碰到过这种情况么，我应该做什么其它检查么？谢谢。 |

数值很好。OB说尿里没有蛋白质应该说明肾没有问题。我想知道有没有准妈妈也有这种
情况，需要去什么专科做进一步检查么，孕期有什么需要注意的？
我有一次14个小时没吃没喝任何碳水化合物，只吃了两个白水煮鸡蛋喝了清水，测试尿

么说的），就是给你一杯冰的橘子味的很甜的水，喝完后一小时抽血。
本以为自己肯定很轻松的通过，下午ob打电话来，我没接，语音留言说没有紧急事情，
只是叫我有空打回去。打回去后，护士告诉我说，我的数值有180，OB 说normal 130.
我吓死了，怎么高这么多。据我自己知道，俩家都没有糖尿病史的。虽然我体重有一点
点overweight，但是我骨架大，一直比较重的。
12周到现在16周，四周长了4磅，肚子在晚上吃完饭后很明显。平时如果穿贴身连衣裙
很明显，但如果穿宽松衣服，还是能遮住的。大部分同事都还看不出来。
我昨天中午跟朋友吃中餐自助，吃了较多面条，混沌等，晚上家里做饭吃了番薯粉条。
平时我几乎很少吃米饭，中午带饭会带点米饭，晚上只吃菜和汤的。我很喜欢吃面食，
怀孕以来吃过很多次饺子，包子和面条。从来不喜欢吃甜食的，怀孕了也不喜欢吃甜的
。但平时水果还是喜欢的，樱桃，蓝莓，桃子，西瓜每天都吃。
医生让明天去那个3天diet的建议表，说吃完后让去测2小时的。希望这个能过。

时白米白面还是吃的，最近肚子感觉很大，改吃全麦的多些了。
我看版上的帖子美国大家用的标准好像都是类似如下的单位：mg/dl
我在欧洲，似乎他们用的单位很不一样。
20周左右测手指血：
空腹：4.4（试纸放一个小仪器里立马出结果）
饭后（10个饺子）1.5小时后测(没有喝糖水，直接测手指)：6.4（试纸放一个小仪器里
立马出结果）
医生说两个结果都是正常的。
但因为我奶奶有糖尿病，我被要求28周3天做2小时的GTT（glucose tolerance test）
。提前8-10小时不能吃东西，能少量喝水。早上8点先查了手指血，4.2。然后让喝了一
瓶糖水，坐那等2小时后再测血（2小时给我了半杯水，说口实在很渴可以稍微喝一下。
）。2小时到了，
手指血：7.9（试纸放一个小仪器里立马出结果）
静脉血（过了两天才知道这个结果，因为要送医院化验什么的）：7.3 （我看了这个7.
3的单位似乎是 7.3mmol/l）
疑问的是，当时2小时后的那个手指血7.9，当时抽血的护士说有点高，一般应是6-7，
