省钱就是赚钱的精神，我特意整理一下。

发帖数: 8461 | 8 实际上现在多数奔驰车上都有一个非礼猫估计从来没听说过的东西, 就是那个AirMatic
是可调的.实际上ML的5 inch ground clearance是default setting下的,为了在城市里
面跑的时候的handling. 到offroad的时候,只要把airmatic调到high, ground
clearance会立刻被增加到10 inch以上.而ML系列有on/off road package(这个package
现在在美国可能不一定买得到了,可以custom order但是真的没有几个人买,因为用不上
),有这个package的话ground clearance可以被调到差不多11 inch.

图中可以看到, 低配的ML配套的悬挂是steel suspension 和液压减震,这种配置的

residential address折扣是按照ground discount rate来计算。但是surcharge比
fedex home to residential address要贵一些(类似于penalty?) 最后的difference主
要看ground discount rate和home discount rate的差别。差得越大，可能能多省点。
另外一个主要区别是ground只能周一到周五投递。home是周二到周六投递。如果周六能
到，你选了ground,buyer只能周一收到货。 |

minutes).就在那个yavapai lodge旁边，可以提前在网站上订，但是只能订两天后的
，两天之内的，first come first serve, 但是现在这个季节，一般都抢不到
好象公园东边有一个desert view camping ground, 也是first-come-first-serve 的
，但是比较远，有30mile的样子。
南门口大概2mile的地方有一个 RV parking village(好象是这个名字，很好找), $20
一晚，也有hot shower ($1.5 for 6 minute). 主要上RV lot， 但也有一些camping
ground, 而且可以打电话订。但是camping ground周围树比较少，可能一大早就会被晒醒
南门口再往南2mile的样子（在那个airport旁边，也很好找，路上sign很清楚），有一
个叫 "TEN X" 的camping ground， 在Kaibab forest 边上 |

水泥地上撞头，没有给他任何stand your ground 或Yield your ground的选择。芝麻
人完全是正当防卫，和佛罗里达的特殊法律无关。如果芝麻人不开枪反击的话，春旺肯
定会把他打死或者打成植物人，春旺由于是Minor,住两年少管所估计就可以出来继续杀
人了。
如果春旺给芝麻人机会后撤的话，我相信他也会Yield the ground,而不会开枪击毙那

发帖数: 1157 | 18 谢谢楼上MM的详解。刚又去看了下信用卡，还是18.42，没看到有别的收费了，已经过
去快两周，不会过了一个月再来收吧。
没有试过轻东西。当初开户是因为要给父母邮寄签证材料，几张纸居然８０多刀，即使
是国际邮件也觉得很贵，很长时间没用FedEx了。这次是因为东西实在太多太重，想起
了pick up服务。
网上可以打label，很方便，好像有帐户可以省１０％， 能看出收费多少，这样可以跟
paypal label,或是usps网上估价比一下，选便宜的打印就好了。
准备下次邮寄重的东西还用这个，省时省力。
查了下，好象只有地址不同的ground shipping pick up 收费。好像express 和国际的收费很高。希望不要误导大家。

来介绍几种我家采用的ground cover。
１。非洲雏菊
因为我家前院的花主色调是紫色，所以雏菊我只选了紫色系的这２种。其实白色的非洲
雏菊也很适合做ground cover，非常衬托红色等明艳色系的花。这个花在加州可以是常
绿的，并且花期长，繁殖的也很快。
２。Ice Flower
这个花最耐旱，也最容易插活。我就是从朋友家掐了几个小枝，插在盆里，转过年来移
到地上，看看现在长的有多大了！这是１棵，就已经是１小片啦～～～颜色非常的火爆
亮眼。同样我只选了紫色系的紫粉色。
３。这个花是我在Halfmoon Bay海边折的。因为我家前院人行道挨马路的地方是滴灌，
水量又不足，非常干旱。当时我就想啊，这个花能在海边那么干涸之地生存，那绝对适
合我家马路边上那块地！并且颜色也很配啊，就折了４－５个小枝，插在地里。看看，
现在它们蔓延的有多快。
４。我家有２棵特别大的棕榈树，树太大了，根系就很发达。不喜欢它们下面光突突的
啥也不种，但土下全是根，又不能深挖，所以就随便种了些这种小花。这种小白花根很

如果可以写进简历的话，可以填一下这个gap.
另外，ground rounds 和 ground rounds lecture有什么区别？因为我看有些地方比较
混乱。比如我们系，ground rounds和其后的lecture是分开的。Lecture有时有，有时
没有，但grand rounds总是有。但有些系就不一样，说是grand rounds,其实就是
lecture.
Another question: Are these grand rounds and lectures open to outsiders. LP

场的express附近有个fedex office. express和ground package都能收。这种情况，
fedex express driver可能就顺便给你drop off了。
如果没有这样的连接纽带，一般express和ground都是分开的。就不知道有没有热心人
了。
要不你自己去问问fedex,看看那个邮箱的货会被送到哪里。然后到目的地去问问。或者
看好那里的pick up time,自己去等等。然后问问driver. |

是RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS 它会自动改成HOME DELIVERY,不管我已经把GROUND作为

小型运送车派送，星期六有service，Ground的话一般是只星期一到五，运送质量没有
Home Delivery好。如果一开始你填Ground，结果发现地址是residential，除了补回原
本的费用，还会追加10%的运费。 |

it add some attactions. I personally don't like just put mulch and bare
ground, some ground cover plant can survive in some very dry, hot climate.

yesterday LD and I stopped by a starbucks location and asked for the coffee
ground information. We were told to give them a call early in the morning on
the day when you can pick up the ground. They'll save the coffee ground for
you. Otherwise, they trash them. |
