未经面试就聘请Jon Gruden为雷达新任主教练。其实Davis对Gruden并不陌生，
在之前的两三年时间内，两人多次面谈，商讨Gruden到雷达任职的可能性。
Gruden当时已经是费城老鹰队的Offensive Coordinator，
因此对Davis先后给出的QB教练，offensive coordinator的承诺不敢兴趣，
他要的是主教练。Davis非常欣赏这个年轻人的才华，但他当时对Gruden擅长的
西海岸进攻不感兴趣，同时由于之前的Shanahan事件，Davis对于出身雷达以外
的年轻人怀有戒心，因此一直拖到98年，经历了雷达历史上最惨痛的失败以后，
才下了决心，让Gruden掌舵力挽狂澜。
Gruden上任后，第一步要做的就是重新打造当时名列全NFL倒数第一的防守阵容。
97年雷达防守的一大问题是军心涣散，球员在场上如同一盘散沙。Gruden首先就
从振奋士气开始，这个差使最立竿见影的办法就是杀人立威，中国历史上有曹操
借王逅的人头，古罗马有克拉苏的十一令，可见古今中外都是相通 |

不过看来他确实认真考虑过OSU的offer的。
虽然今年raiders取得巨大成就，
但是gruden在raiders的前途并不光明。
raiders的老板Al DAvis虽然很欣赏
他的才华和工作态度，
但却并不喜欢gruden采用的west coast offense.
当年Davis把采用WCO的主教练mike white
炒鱿鱼时就说，对raiders来言，
west coast offense就好象communism, never works.
就在AFC championship game前一天，
他还说raiders应该多传球down the field.
球队的战绩掩盖了战术上的分歧，
但这颗定时炸弹随时会引爆，
到时候卷铺盖走人的当然不会是老板。
raiders今年运气不错，但明后两年能不能卫冕divisional title? 难。
denver就是再烂，raiders也打不过。
KC的球员一直很厉害，这回有了个好教练。
seattle的教练是gruden的老师holmgren,

放个听众进来 说出几个战术术语
DP当场判断 这是正宗的JG用词 还是听众自己捏造的

2. isolation blitz pursuit
3. drop out retreated cover
4. hugging the screen back
5. melt through the intermediate push
6. lead weak crack toss
不过随便看看他的系统
即使对身高身材体重速度敏捷爆发等等都没有要求

也失去了大名鼎鼎的主力四分卫。superbowl一结束，球员交易的大幕刚揭开，
Raiders立刻就宣布解除了与QB Jeff George的合同。
Jeff George是全NFL身体素质最好的QB之一，传球又远又准，

其中部分功劳也得益于较弱的schedule。NFL没有免费的午餐，出来
混的总是要还的，雷达99年的schedule险恶无比，头两场就作客NFC
中部的两大巨无霸packers和vikings。
首战bret favre领衔的packers,这是rich gannon首次代表雷达出赛，
一炮打响。gannon灵活的步法，配上审时度势的能力，让packers恐怖
的pass rushing毫无用武之地，每次blitz都被gannon于千钧一发之
时惊险躲过，然后抓住对方后场由于人手不够暴露出来的空档，连续

球迷，2001年要不是NFL历史上最臭名昭著的雪地误判，说不定当年就拿下Superbowl
了，AL Davis还是太固执，第二年不应该放Gruden走， 然后去的又是海盗，Gruden 太
熟悉 Gannon 了， 直接导致后者02年超级杯5个interception，从此raiders一蹶不振
，眼睛一眨14年了，我也从年少轻狂的单身时代变成了两个娃的中年大叔，还好9岁儿
子也很喜欢体育，也是Raiders fan. |

to Tennessee. He will win another SB before he ever sets his foot in
Neyland stadium. He is just using Vols and Hogs as his bargaining chips to
get back to NFL. He is an above-average NFL coach, but he would be a
terrible college coach.
The sad thing about some Tennessee fans are their reasoning is entirely
based on wishful thinking, very much so in football, sometimes in life too.

一、注意“长老”不是“老年人”可能是年轻人或中年人。请长老抹油祷告是很正常的
，任何相信圣经的教会都会有人相信并实践的。
二、我不清楚怎样解释‘“圣经”“新约”明确要求女人在教会要“闭口不言”’。
我不知道这个教导是不是绝对的，或“明确”。
例如，哥林多前书十一章，
4 凡男人祷告或是讲道（讲道或作说预言下同），若蒙着头，就羞辱自己的头。 5 凡
女人祷告或是讲道，若不蒙着头，就羞辱自己的头。因为这就如同剃了头发一样。 6

这些经文意为，女人可以讲道（先知预言）只有蒙头（要不就剪头发）就可以了。与哥

that year, raiders had a very strong offense line,
and Kaufman's running game is very good too.
their offense was one of league's best,
but defense was dead last,
plus led the league in penalties.
A problem of that year's offense is:
almost all offense came from big plays,
Jeff's long bombs and Kaufman's long run,
they either 3 and out, or 3 and TD,
so defense always on the field and got beaten.
Gruden's west coast offense needs a mobile QB
and short, accurate passes.

偶是用这场比赛涮NFC的球队呢:)
至于raiders,今年schedule太可怕，加上运气不佳，
打到这份上也可以了，
既年轻又有钱，来日方长嘛。
btw,raiders的defense coordinator willie shaw被炒,
老萧去年把前年NFL最烂的防守改造成全联最好的之一，
名声大振，可惜貌不出众，
所以虽然interview多多，还是没能谋的一席主教练。
今年就不行了，raiders的防守多次在最后一个quarter顶不住，
所以老萧也饱受指责，
加上和主教练小白脸jon gruden不睦，
所以合约到期就只好走人。
今年估计没人请他当主教练了，
不知道能不能混个defense coordinator的原职。 |

众多媒体记者猜测纷纷，把这个话题越炒越热，越发强化了davis作为
雷达决策者的公众形象，这也正是davis所要达到的目的。其实davis
早就胸有成竹，只是不公开宣布而已。(和今年任命bill callahan时
的过程几乎一模一样) Davis对于新教练的要求有两条，一是青年才俊，
二是出自雷达内部。有才华的年轻人热情奔放有活力，对新鲜事物接受
能力强，有利于球队发展，出身球队内部可以保证新教练和球队间的
相互了解，顺利度过磨合期。当然这只是表面上的理由，更重要的是，
年轻则没有经验，内部挖潜则脱颖而出的必是听话的老部下，这两条
对于davis垂帘听政控制球队至关重要。于是，年仅32岁的原雷达linebackers
教练john madden，坐上了雷达主教练的宝座。自madden以降，以后历任

raiders would've have fallen apart when gruden left,
raiders would've collapsed after 4-game losing streak,
raiders would've lost to the hyped jets in playoff,
raiders would've had no chance against mcnair.......
yet, that hostile media has to admit,
"titans got more break from it".

the raiders offense, bucs have to generate enough peneration up front and
flush Gannon out of pocket. But they can not afford blitz too much cause
gannon is too good and eventually he is gonna get you. i think, this game is a
battle of lines. If raiders OL can hold bucs dl, raiders win, otherwise, bucs
on top.
As far as the bucs running game, it is no where near what Gruden wants to be.

总能想办法最后榨出点油水来。
当初用tom flores换了金牌QB lamonica,
ken stabler换了pazzoliani,
这人最后虽然没有练出来，但当时被认为是最后前途的QB之一。
日暮西山的marcus allen还换了一个1st rounder.
gruden这票买卖更是赚大了，
搞回来2个1st rounder,2个2nd rounder,

这两队之间的比赛历来惨烈异常。打到第二节，
丹佛的QB John Elway就受伤下场。野马立刻报复，
一个roughing the passer把雷达的QB Jeff George撞下了场。
没有了主力四分卫，双方都是守强攻弱，僵持不下。
到了第四节，裁判连续在丹佛3rd down的时候吹雷达防守犯规，
雷达的金牌角卫Charles Woodson和Eric Allen分别被判莫须有的传球犯规，
野马步步推进，最后TD得分。接下来野马的防守关键时刻发威，
断球成功后得分，雷达最终以17：34失利。赛后主教练Gruden赛后表示，
他今年重点抓的就是防守和减少犯规，防守大有起色，
但在减少犯规方面球员做的还很不够，
所以输掉了今天的比赛，纪律性必须继续加强。
第四周雷达作客达拉斯，牛仔队这时已经开始没落，
但百足之虫，死而不僵，牛仔依然拥有Troy Aikman, Emmit Smith这些大将，
实力不可小觑。幸运的是，Aikman有伤不能上阵，雷达防守滴水不漏，
全场快结束时只让对手得了10分，这时雷达以13：10领先3分，

randall cunningham可惜啊，配有robert smith, cris carter俩员buckeye
猛将加上最佳新秀randy moss, 怎么老被packers压着。。可惜。
其实我发现，nfc north我还是比较喜欢得。packers+vikings.现在只
喜欢packers了。因为vikings里面的buckeyes都退役了，还有一个牛比
CB cory stringer训练heat exhaustion热死了 :( |

感觉就是TE很厉害。hostetler->ricky dudley,
steve young->brent jones,百发百中，偶只玩raiders/niners。
第二个是97年的quarterback club,
这个游戏非常难玩，因为太逼真模拟quarterback的传球过程了。
你不能同时看所有的receivers，
必须通过一个button从No.1 option到No.2,No.3一路rotate下去。
接下来就是EA的madden football,从99一直玩到02,
再后来PC游戏失宠，都改xbox,ps2了，偶也不买新的03,04玩乐。
madden的几款都差不多，
偶玩的熟练的就是jon gruden的raiders playbook。
rookie/pro级别的太容易，怎么玩都成，
到了all madden级别的难度才大。
首先是kicker,
AI的球队随便一个烂kicker都能踢50码飞狗百发百中，
欧的janikowski虽然kicking power天下第一，射程只有40出头。
