发帖数: 284 | 4 128附近的好学区都算老区了，老区新房多是旧房拆了重建的，价钱自然高。但是495附
近也有很多好学区，比如southboro, Hopkinton, Westborough，Acton,Boxborough等
镇的新房70-80万左右还是有的。要看你工作的地点是否方便了。 |

城镇，几乎都是以single family住宅为主的城镇。收入是购买力，包括住房购买力的最
直接表现。
Newton， Brookline, Belmont不在20名之列。原因可能由于这三个镇的出租人口和单
身收入人口和没有收入的学生所占比例较大有关吧。

，就跑到town 里去查 permit, 发现4个bath 算是有plumbing permit, OK. 然后就傻
乎乎地跑到 Assessor office, 问可不可以将 assessment data 改成4个bath, staff
说可以，但是要涨 value, 每个 bath 1.5-2 万，我想了想还是要改。后来被告知房子
明年会基本按照买价的 95% 算 assessment value, 那么 assessment value会从 51万
涨到65万左右。 我心里一惊，吓坏了，这哪了得。 算下来 12.77X 65 万 /1000 = $
8300/年， 比以前多了1800/年. 每个月多了 $150.
我就随便查了一下 Lexington的一个房子的税， 那个房子比这个小一半， assessment
57万，但是要交 15.2X57万/1000 = $8900 的税。而且这个房子是烧油的，冬天据说
是每个月600-800 的油取暖的费用。

民区. 同样价位在Hopkinton, Medfield, Andover 等好学区可以买些高大上了. |

Lincoln.

definitely much better than Newton as Lincoln is further away from the city.
But look at the sales data, most houses in Lincoln sold way over $1 million
. Homes in 八十万 range will be considered poor by the many rich neighbors
in the town. The kids of a "poor" family may not easily fit in as their
classmates live a totally different lifestyle. In this regard, Hopkinton,
