首先感谢....坚强领导和细致决策，从hardcore 到 housekeeping都布置的井井有条而
且知人善任，使得这么多人在这么远的地方和恶劣的天气条件下在这么有难度的河上漂
流两天都能够平安顺利，纵有意外，也总能化险为夷。他实在是我们需要加倍珍惜和仰
仗的宝贵财富。
但是如果没有大家的紧密团结和积极配合，我相信kurt就算再英明神武，算无遗策，也
会有孤掌难鸣，巧妇难为无米之炊的悲叹。好在我们每个兄弟姐妹都表现出了极强的纪
律性和执行力，没有自由散漫，破坏团结，只知索取，不懂付出的人和事。而且无论男
女长幼，每个人都为这个团队，为这次活动，为其他人做出了重要的而且是无可替代的
贡献。我想我们这种宝贵的团队精神也是kurt和大家今后需要加倍珍惜和仰仗的宝贵财
富。作为这个团队的一员，我倍感骄傲和荣幸。

为什么这么说，可以肯定的是凶嫌就是酒店的内部员工。
正常的如果是在她失踪后就被杀死并抛尸在酒店的顶楼水箱中，那么尸体的腐烂程度
会说话，从目前的公布消息可以推断出，可能是杀死后，尸体被藏匿，在水箱水
被检验后抛尸在水箱，能有这种便利并且熟悉这种情况的，连酒店的常租客都不会。
酒店的那些housekeeping也做不到，那么能做到这点的肯定是酒店内部员工。
应该是男性，身高在180以上，体重在200磅，可能还是黑人，按照这样的标准，基本是

比如不那么强的亚裔孩子间的竞争 ：）
0.天气冷，阳光少了一大半，原来假如感觉depressed了，看看外面的阳光，院子里的
花团锦簇，心情就好了，以后不知道要靠什么缓解。
1.亚裔比例锐减，要准备好做真正的 minority (这个有点难)
2.不太可能出门就能吃到各地口味的便宜中餐，要经常自己做饭了 （考察过两家口碑
好的，价格是我们那里类似档次的两倍不止，开车也颇有段距离。欢迎大家推荐好吃又
公道的餐馆）
3.饮食昂贵,新鲜果蔬品种选择少，可能不容易买到喜欢的食物, 看到几家亚洲超市，
东西好少啊 :(
4.人工贵，没那么多廉价移民短工，很多事要学习自己动手（虽然还不知道这里园丁／
handyman/poolman/housekeeper 的行情，但是被听说的数字惊到了）
5.utility月费高，冬天取暖和夏天空调，特别是取暖，也是被听说的数字惊到了（去

have to take care of the baby at night. They even told me that 100/day when
she takes care of the baby at night is a great deal.
for the first month, she charges 110/day.
oh btw, she cooks for the whole family as well. she's now doing part time @

hotel：看你住那种，如果是纽约高级酒店（4star+）不需要给：他们都是工会，pay的
非常之高。
别的城市和不太高级的酒店反而给很多，因为那些housekeeper才是真的低收入人群，
而且挺不容易的，屋子收拾的也不差。。。
回想以前在国内工作时候经常出差，待一两周酒店，连随手扔的衣服都被叠好了，心里
特别温暖。
可惜国内没那个规矩，现在想起来好后悔 |

metro north goes to Grand Central, as opposed to LIRR, which goes to Penn
