我在8.1日得知公司不包办LAC，必须自己找律师，一圈前辈问下来之后，决定自己DIY
。申请类型是status change，第一次申请h1b。
8.13在线递交了ETA Form 9035E，8.17收到denial，里面有个地方填错了，于是当天马
上改，重新在线递交，8.23LCA通过。
接下来紧锣密鼓准备I129材料包裹，就是所有的form，petition letter（抄同学的）
，支票，CV，成绩单和毕业证，护照签证i20 i94复印件，SS card复印件，工作offer
，在8.30日用usps隔天件送到vermont center。
接下来等了两个礼拜receipt迟迟不到，HR打电话去问，拿到了receipt number，然后
让他们重新寄了一份。
到了九月底，发觉今年形势不对，平均等待时间超过四个月，而我的OPT十月就要过期
了，于是马上在线递交PP，用自己的信用卡交掉一千块PP fee。
两周内就收到email，说要补材料，我猜就是奥巴马那个新政策的规定，于是心急火燎

有一项选择COS就不用出境激活
你申请的是H1B的petition和change of status( F1->H1B)
和在美国大使馆申请F1/H1B签证是两回事
只要符合H1B要求材料真实完整就不会被拒
不用担心签证官心情

不想花钱请，于是就自己做了。还没有招我的时候，我老板给我申请的；现在我决定自
己做，省点钱。：）
用的PP服务，6月13号收到的申请，6月16号就批了。呵呵，效率算很高了。网上关于第
一次申请H1B的材料比较多，但是没有明确的关于延期的。我就将自己的cover letter
分享一下，也算是回报板上的xdjm们吧。：）
另外，感谢LP的仔细检查，在我邮寄前发现了一个填表中的大错误，使我及时改过来了
，没有导致RFE或者rejection。 呵呵。好了，以下是cover letter 的内容：
