背景：
国内土博，来美3年半，在靠100位之后的大学做博后。
1）authorship,12篇SCI，全是国内博士阶段的工作，一作5篇，2篇一作在本领域TOP3
杂志。引用大概150，没分自引和他引.递140之前，两篇3作之后的文章发表，但没有放
在140中，主要嫌麻烦，放了之后authorship那部分得重新弄。另外，有两篇一作文章
在REVIEW，140中把投稿时生成的PDF文档首页打印出来，以示有文章待发。
2）media report, 大部分是国内媒体的报道，新浪，搜狐，科技日报等，里面提到了
我的名字。
3）peer reviewer.26篇，来自10个杂志。大部分从去年9月到今年2月收到的。
claim了上3项外加contribution.

负责）。因此根据I485的RECEPIT NUMBER，大概猜了前后几个号码，发现一个号码跟
I485是同一天的收到的，而且前后几个紧邻的号码要么就是不同日期收到的，要不就不
是I140的申请。请问这样猜可信吗，而且我记得大家都经常说PP CLOCK START，但是我
猜的这个号码并没有类似的显示，而且律师给我说PP的不能填G1145表格。另外问，
I485交以后，多少天会通知打指纹呀，是否要等到I140批以后呀？我按网上以前说的方
法发信去要RECEPIT NUMBER， USCIS也不会信。不知道还有什么办法拿到查询号码？

大家通告这个烂律所），因为担心CASE不到一起出事，所以也让这个律所做了，然后和

被退回了。USCIS 的状态是”the post office returned the notice we last sent
you on this case I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER as undeliverable.
This may have serious effects on processing this case. “。但是我自己收到了
I140 的Courtesy notice (I797-C). 问问有经验的，这个能不能用以File I485. 比较
着急，有点不想等正式的approval notice, 但是有有点担心用Courtesy 的会有麻烦。

Answer to Q2: The attorney should know how to handle your case.
Answer to Q3: Yep, you can apply for AP and EAD with I140/485 application

I140表part4，provide the person's foreign address,我填写了父母老家的地址。
最近准备G325，里面要提供applicant's last address outside the united states
of more than one year, 看上去需要填写出国前最后一个超过一年的地址，那就是学
校的地址，这样和我140填写的foreign 地址就不一致了，不知道会不会有什么问题？

很大。周围朋友有等一年多等来RFE的。我个人也支持不强的I140不要PP的说法。理由
并不是因为PP会引起来自IO的不必要的麻烦。理由是，对于不强的I140，在等待期间，
引用等能说明重要贡献等新证据会不停增长，弱case也就变强了，等待时间越长，会变
得越强。万一将来有RFE,容易用新增长的数据来回复。如果引用等证据在递交后的这一
段时间，涨得还不错的话，就果断PP好了。 |

律师说可以PP，但我只是不想花那个钱。不过6个多月还是超出我预计的时间挺多的。
打电话SR的时候，客服说今年backlog很多。现在I140应该在处理RD在3月份的case。
给那些在纠结是否要PP的XDJM的建议：
1.如果你的case算比较强，或你急需绿卡，或者你没有耐心等半年，go PP

背景及感想：
药学，文章14 (一作3), IF: 3-7 ; book chapter 4(一作2). Google scholar：230+
(没有区分自引他引)；审稿: 36 ；美国博士。
因为背景不强，自己DIY了，觉得自己动手也许能挖掘更多的闪光点。用了朋友的PL和
推荐信模板，claim 了老三样。花了很多时间仔细研究每一个引用。
我的一作文章不多。文章还不是很多的朋友也应该早点动手申请。
推荐信4封: 3 independent and 1 dependent (3 from USA and 1 from China); 感觉
推荐信不一定越多越好，每封推荐信里我都尽量举一两个具体的例子而非泛泛的评价。
推荐人里有三个是华人，IO似乎也没说什么。

制，J1 的extension 和 I140应该是相对独立的，因为extension的时候，不会问有没
有递交I140，只会问有没有wavie J1。当然前提是人在美国。不知道理解的对不？
如果你说的属实，就意味着140被拒，就没法保存J1身份了。
