标 题: 有没有人曾经把自己的CPA LICENSE转成INACTIVE过？

准备呆家里一两年，有可能几年如果去读书的话，以前都是公司出前什么CPE 课，或各
种费，年税，现在呆家里，才发现这笔花销不少。想转成INACTIVE，就可以不用交那么
钱了。但以后万一找工作的时候，INACTIVE的STATUS有什么影响吗？可以写在简历上
CPA吗？谢谢指教。 |

发帖数: 1407 | 5 Google过了回答不一，感觉unix管理系统内存的方法有些奇怪; 都说这个inactive没有问题，是那些最近开过然后关闭的程序占用的部分便于下次快速打开，但是感觉系统对利用这部分内存好像优先度不高？（free部分减少的时候系统明显有些慢，尽管inactive的一大堆）
BTW～用的是MacBook Pro 2009 |

company's not a CPA firm. Just pay the $200 license fee and and tell them
your status changed to inactive on the renewal form. ---Only speak for CA
though. Not sure about other states. |

1B，同时opt因为别的原因就浪费掉了。我提交I797申请之后由于没有来得及缴I901
SEVIS fee，结果拖了3个月才拿到I797表，然后系里给我向学校HR提交emplyment的
paperwork，这两头HR发信告诉我由于没有及时缴I901 fee，我的DS2019表被移民局
inactive了。HR现在给我的Option有两个，一个是我交一个$233的late fee然后申请
reactive，但是这样要拖很久，而且不保证能否通过，而且学校可能要被audit，HR显
然不愿意这么麻烦；另外一个是重新给我发一份DS2019表，旧表作废，我再重新申请J-
1，但是我现在不敢肯定的时候一旦旧表作废我是不是必须回国申请J-1。我现在不清楚
我现在的身份算不算有效J-1，因为我妻子有加拿大国籍在美国持有TN签证工作，我是
不是有资格申请TD签证而不用办waiver。

IRS只说了不用填表1040. 可是没说要做些什么，填些什么表。

做phone banking的时候，不少老人家说他们知道SCA5这件事情，他们也知道要去投票
，但是不知道去哪里投票。还有些老人家很老了，91，92的都有，还碰到说中风了/卧
病在床了，没法去投票等等。
大家都说get out the vote,这部分的vote完全可以争取吧
这次初选时间紧迫，这部分没时间没人手去做，11的GE是不是可以考虑一下
要打EL, 打工会，从liberal白人手里拿票难，从老年公寓里面拿票容易一些吧？

tons of termite, water damage, everything original,根本没法住人，就是lot大点
，9000+ sq-ft。
第三个房子正常点，6300 sq-ft lot, 1600 sq-ft房子，不过是Corner Lot, side
street relatively busy, there is a small river behind the house. 还是飚到没
边了。
这交通方便的好区房价，根本不可能跌的。
