For one dimensional integration, R has a function called integrate, but it
is for numerical integration, not for symbolic integration. R also has a
seperate multi-dimensional integration package. According to my experience,
R is not good in numerical interation in terms of ease of use and computing
efficiency compared to maple and matlab.
For symbolic integration, maple is definitely the best choice.
On the other hand, if you insist on doing this kind of thing using R, you
can create a function

I've got an integral that I was able to integrate with Mathematica. It does
not appear to be difficult. So I tried to solve it manually. I am not able
to figure it out. For the sake of my curiosity, I wonder if anybody could
help me out. Any hints would be greatly appreciated.
The integral has the following form:
Integrate[Cos[x]^2*Log[-a*Cos[x] +Sqrt[1-a^2*Sin[x]^2]], {x, 0, 2*Pi}]
where "a" is a real positive number less than 1.

我不是大牛,只是有段时间玩HIFI比较疯,积累了一些经验。现在偶已经转战料理和甜
点制作了。最近对餐具,和BAKING的工具,食材比较发烧。
关于这个KRELL 400,几年前我在买INTEGRATED AMP的时候到店里把几乎所有的
INTEGRATED牌子都听了一遍。开始对KRELL蛮感兴趣,因为对比KRELL其他的功放,这个
在价格上比较有优势。在NYC的PARK AVENUE AUDIO店里听的,用的是一对JOSEPH AUDIO
的书架,型号忘了,当年的价格大约是$2K一对。用来对比的是一个ACRAM FMJ
INTEGRATED。
觉得400的声音比较白开水,最失望的是DYNAMIC感觉比较压抑,这原本是KRELL的强
项。在细节上面,ARCAM完胜!
听后觉得这个合并机,只是挂了个KRELL的牌子,没有任何让人觉得惊喜或是心动的地
方。
同样的2手价格,考虑一下AYRE吧。。只是一个建议,同样的价格选择还是很多的。
ARCAM都不错,更加便宜。。

Integrity form这种东西白纸黑字的可小可大,尽量不要签,弄不好将来成为你的bad
record就麻烦了,影响找工作,一上升到Integrity这个层次就比较定性比较严重。
你能不能找你们学校的international students office,让他们帮你跟professor谈谈
,说明一下文化差异/语言差异等等,看能不能不上升到integrity这个层面,最多drop
掉这门课。

I designed an integrator, it is actually a low pass filter, a simple one
stage differential amplifier with one terminal input short to the output and
connected to a capacitor. In this case, the input is a signal, the output
would be the input average voltage. All the transistors work in the weak
inversion. The integrator has a tail current of 100pA. The transistor were
sized to have a DC offset of 5mV, that means the output is 5mV apart from

对,tau是常数。
那f要满足什么条件才叫不变态呢?如果是continuous是不是就足够了?
在网上搜了很多stochastic integration,发现都是integrator是random process,是
一个deterministic function的例子反倒一个都没有,应该像你说的是因为这种情况太
简单根本不属于stochastic integration。但是有什么theorem可以直接用吗?如果要
严格的证明好像还不知道如何下手。。。

I need to calculate an integral in python.
I have imported sympy.
g(a,z) = integral_from_z_to_inf of ( t^(a-1) * e^(-1))
in python:
x,a,z = symbols('x a z')
g = integrate(x**(a-1) * exp(-x), z, oo)
I got error:
ValueError: Invalid limits given: (z, oo)
Any help would be appreciated !
