发帖数: 1648 | 4 和和，要厚道，术业有专攻。如果我问人家新来的UCB化学博士RHEOLOGY，POLYMER PHYSICS，POLYMER PROCESSING， MECHANICAL BEHAVIORS什么的那就是故意为难人家，即便他们本来是做POLYMER的。再说上IVY的人也不见得放很多心思在学术上。以前我们组一个买卖提的博士，本来想FACULTY的，但不知道为什么中途对学术界丧失了希望和兴趣，然后马上拍拍屁股，去了著名CONSULTING FIRM，就凭这个非名校的比不了啊。 |

的。
越来越觉得我的GTX480 3way SLI每个都在80度，风扇才50%，这也是一件比较欣慰的事

Ant很容易就写到4,5000行，Maven撑死就5,600行.
Maven主要是有个基本模板，照着来就可以了。想和ANT一样搞free form project要靠定义architypes,比较繁.
基本上ANT+IVY=MAVEN |

after building them for several times, I already have the packages cached
locally, so there is no point in trying to check for latest versions
through network again.
is there a way to disable this check? now I can't build without a network
connection.

我今天刚接了一个面试是咨询公司做financial consultant 的
他们给我面试的原因就是我过了level II

条件很好了

name > 10 people whom I know fairly well with all these standards satisfied.
Quite a few people who have been posting on this board also satisfy all 3;
most just don't bother to spell it out explicitly.
Seriously, don't look down on our own Chinese folks that much.
BTW, neither NYU nor UMich belongs to the Ivy - they're perfectly great
schools regardless. |

Duke). Undergrad in China.
Personally, I know more than 30 Chinese people who went to undergraduate in
China and graduated from a top 10 (or top 14) LS. Among them, about half of
them took LSAT and got into LS. The other half transferred from the LLM
program into the JD program. You can go to BIGLAW websites (especially
VAULT TOP 10 firms) and search for their credentials.

Microcenter is offering IN-STORE ONLY
Well, I decided to see if my local Frys in San Diego would price match a
store more than 100 miles away, and they did! I got the i5 3570k for $189.99
+ tax.
I figured they might shut me down, but he didn't bat an eye. YMMV on this
one, not sure if a different employee would have balked. At any rate, it is
worth a shot if you have a Frys near you and not a Microcenter.

次理想的打算是，如果进不了名校的JD，则把EE MS完成后在IT业界干二三年然后去读
MBA。
倾向于Columbia的理由：

2 总排名，法学院，EE研究生排名比Northwestern高
倾向于Northwestern的理由：
1 EE本科排名比Columbia高（只读Master是否更像是本科？）；商学院比Columbia高非

2 学校设施及周围环境似乎比Columbia好（未确定，希望有经历的同学来讲讲）
3 Columbia的EE MS AD似乎是十分水，非常水，简直就是水（相比之下Northwestern的
MS AD没怎么就见人报，有没有人说说情 |
