Apple is planning to bring its web design tool iWeb for Mac to its iPad
tablet PC, a new patent application has revealed.
According to a report on Patently Apple, the company has filed a patent for

公司没钱发了，已经有一个月没有pay stub了。
如果找到新工作，需要pay stub来transfer h1b，这个pay stub可以是 0 吗？可不可
以要公司出个证明说是unpaid leave？
如果转H4的话，还需要pay stub吗？

重装了系统，以前机子上的都用time machine back了一下，但现在找不到原文件了。
能不能用ftp把自己的网站内容都下载下来然后恢复？另外请教iweb和sandvox time
machine都备份到哪了？多谢 |

俺以前一直用thinkpad, 工作时候也是一直用dell desktop/windows，我也曾经很不明
白苹果电脑有什么好。 直到买了一
个小白用过之后才发现，mac确实有很多不错的地方. 很多的确是windows需要努力的方
向，对我而言，感觉不错的有几
点：
1）显示不错
2）操作性好，基本不用鼠标，multi-touch真是很好用。
3）对多媒体支持很好。
4）PDF处理很快。
5）mail, iphoto, iweb等非常简单好用。
6）电源管理不错。
7）基本不担心病毒。
另外，保值还行， 除非你老买300，400的电脑， 如果你买同样价位的HP, DELL, TP的
电脑，3年后还值多少钱？ 当然很
多人不准备出售，那是另当别论。
我也碰到过一些人确实用过一段时间，不习惯而回到windows的。当时板上这些苹果黑
的，看不出有几个真用过，大多都
是不吃葡萄就说葡萄酸的， 呵呵。 其实大家想吃， 都吃得到了。纯属个人意见。 |

发帖数: 77 | 20 我用的是苹果电脑，有个软件叫rapidweaver，比苹果本身的iweb好用多了，我又下载
了个好看的模板，所以做出来就那样了，我自己也喜欢设计，所以正好。哪些朋友想做
点儿啥，我可以帮忙，比较快。可以给我留言。
回 drmj and dengfu, 对呀，这些都是靠人家吃饭，所以钱不好整，但大多是也都是自
动的，自己不用update太多，还好了。你们说道正点儿上了，流量是个大问题，不过有
一些捷径可以走，所以正在研究，像Senuke软件好像就能承担一部分这样的事情。
那个买卖网站叫 flippa.com 但一定小心，上面基本上都是吹牛的，而且有些卖家，换
个domain名，内容一样，又继续卖，不好。
paypal 上注册比较简单，不用business名称，你自己的名字就行。 |

比如Pixelator这个廉价传说中给穷人用的Photoshop
Pixelator的show photos就是访问iPhoto的library
Garageband, iDVD, iMovie这些都可以通过iLife media browser访问存放在iMovie,
iPhoto, iTunes里的媒体文件。 |

发帖数: 1432 | 40 iWeb的替代是...?别告诉我是google sites。当然有点追求的都自己找host，呵呵。
图片相册的替代，Picasa被封好久了吧。Flickr也被封杀。
网盘用dropbox和cloudapp足够好（前段时间闹封杀，现在不知解封没），虽然2G不太够，不过20G其实也不够，稳定性的话amazon的infrastructure和apple的差不多。
Bookmarks的同步，用Firefox的话问题不大，个人不喜欢Xmarks，就都交给firefox的
sync好了。
其他的Calendar 和 Address Book的sync功能，Google当然可以替代，而且Google
Calendar要更强大一些，不过对于iPhone用户来说，可能苹果家的更讨喜一些吧。即使把Google Calendar都subscribe到本地Mac的calendar，兼容性也不太好，
经常同步不上。 |

发帖数: 161 | 43 实在乏善可陈。对于外贸协会的我来说最不能忍受的是界面越来越windows庸俗化。最
后终卸载装回snow leopard了。
1.单色side bar。突然间觉得紫色的leopard配上彩色的图标是那么地好看。当然
leopard的图标也是越改越丑陋，尤其是最后的itunes，让人有杀人的冲动。谁来说说
苹果是不是有ms的卧底，现在品味那么低级。
2.finder很难看，无时无刻不让我想起过去的windows。说实话现在的windows都没有让
我这么不爽。
3.反向拖拽很无聊。mission control也没有太大新意。
4.mac os lion难道不附送iphoto和iweb了吗？
5.新ical和addr book非常非常难看，非常非常十年前的outlook。对于这一系列的变化我完全没有其他词汇来形容。
总结：性能上没有感到新鲜，外观上极大地倒退。 |

better than OS X.
Application wise, iOS and OS X provide better APIs and you can make better
apps. Google can copy very fast, yes, with so many engineers. So from a
practical point of view, yes maybe 6 months to a year.
Web Service wise, Apple's problem was scalability, which is more or less
resolved, as they are handling the load pretty well now. Apple started

尽管如此，苹果总是制造出让人眼睛一亮的产品。我们就从Jobs回到苹果说起。彩色透
明iMac，经典而又创新：别人都没有，抄都抄不像。
OS X来自NeXTStep，是个UNIX。这个优势给了苹果又是几年领先于微软的资本。但是微
软基本上还是赶上来了。
OS X那时候是有很多独一无二的东西的。iLife：这个易用性，这个整合性，无人能比
。那个时候，其他平台上根本没有可以媲美的照片管理软件，或简单易用但是还是很强
大的业余音乐制作软件，或者能够轻松做出苹果级审美的iWeb网页制作软件，更不要说
微软的MovieMaker和iMovie比起来就是小学生的作业。做音乐，玩摄影，做视频、家庭
电影，还算是有点小资、文艺范儿的东西，远没有普及，那么你要是想做，想做的好，
又不要太难，基本上Mac就是不二的选择了，不差钱的话。iTunes也是最好用的音乐管
理软件，长期也是最佳的数码音乐购买平台。Aperture刚出来也是非常厉害的，鞭策了
Adobe，不然也没有Lightroom了。
