conference proceeding可以排在500个journal的第二和第三（total cites in 3yr）
。 自己还有一篇top25的hot article打算吹下，但是问题是这个journal在先前的类别
里面只排22，我可以再到web of science上面用合适的关键词找更好的ranking么？同
一个材料里面用好几个不同的ranking方法是不是不太好。
SJR上面的ranking他们认可么？会议proceeding竟然能排的这么高，真是意外。。。 |

Eignfactor score比较好呢，还是按journal citation的ranking比较好，还是impact
factor？ 还是哪个最好就选哪个吹？
好像journal的ranking还可以从全部8000多个来吹，或者是本领域的journal来吹，到
底是那个比较好呢？还是都无所谓，只要是top ranked就全写上去？

conference review是给两个会议做的
加起来大概50-60篇
请问EB1B的review要多少才比较合适？
可以claim说review一共50-60吗？还是只统计journal paper review? |

若在20之内，可打印出来，做为证据。
本人CS专业，phd的研究方向又很小，主要关于wireless sensor networks的，发了几
篇文章都是ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks, 虽然不好，但算是我研究小方向
最好的journal了，但是这个journal在ISI上的ranking在40左右。。
求高人指点，journal ranking 低如何办？

mapping ah, hehe 除非没钱开会的情况下才直接投JOURNAL,据说.
还有偶审JOURNAL从来都是先找其会议版本,没有的或者会议级别不MATCH JOURNAL级别的
从一开始心里就准备句之了. |

发帖数: 14 | 26 我的研究有些尴尬，我们有一个肌肉萎缩老鼠模型 (duchenne)，却发现肌肉有大量钙
化.我发现相对正常老鼠，某蛋白 A 大量激活，并特异在钙化的区域。病鼠的肌肉干细
胞内A蛋白也激活,抑制A 后发现干细胞osteogenesis减弱,myogenesis 增强.
而体内用小分子抑制A后,肌肉钙化大量减少,肌肉再生加强.
我觉得结果很新,对肌肉钙化的研究挺有意义.
试着发journal of clinical investigation, 说我 duchenee muscle dystrophy 病人
没有肌肉钙化,所以我的结果没有clinical relevance..., 3天给据了.
发 journal of cell biology, 说我没有fundamental mechanism, 也3天据了....
请教大概8-10来分的journal, 有什么journal 会容易考虑我这种文章?

这个ranking标志不同期刊拿到引用最多的文章的能力。大家知道大部分文章都是在灌
水，所以如何拿到最好的投稿应该是publisher最关心的问题吧。以量取胜就是一个途
径，比如PLoS One。Nature是玩得最成功的例子，在当前的学术环境下可以最先拿到最
好的投稿。Science编辑部压力越来越大，估计得开始思辨了。

我花了很多很多精力写了一个自己比较满意的文章，本来打算投递在一个自己喜欢的杂
志，突然老板strongly recommend我投递一个别人邀请他发表的journal。这个杂志主
编介绍什么所谓invitation only。可是这是一个新杂志的第一期，3年内没有影响因子
，我有点犹豫，不想自己努力了这么久的东西最后投递到一个不着普的journal。 |

AEA 下面的那四个新Journals 被忘了...
也比较纳闷咋他们那么看中Stat Journals. 不过不同意楼上说的统计杂志不只钱,我觉得技术性强,要x数理工地强的活咱土博士就是有comparative advantage,他们能在上发,是好事. 为什么说的好象他们能在上面发表文章,就indicate the quality of the journal is low 一样. |

我是学management science的，和一个经济的教授合写了一篇关于auction的paper，我
是第一作者，主要负责technical part。coauthor主要负责tell story。这篇paper比
较简短，8页，问题还比较有趣。
先去投Economic Theory，没review直接拒了。chief editor和associate editor都是
我coauthor的朋友，说他们现在攒的paper太多，没space，短paper将来可能不会有太
多citation，希望不大。婉转建议别在他们那浪费时间。当然如果坚持review也可以。
我们想人家editor都这么说了，就不review了。
coauthor接下来提出可以考虑这几个journals：SCANDINAVIAN JOURNAL OF ECONOMIC，
ECONOMIC INQUIRY， CANADIAN JOURNAL OF ECONOMICS-RE， SOUTHERN ECONOMIC

It is something for protein, DNA physical chemistry....
Biomacromolecules is definitely will shoot up because it is an ACS journal.
Of course the journals in this area are all arising because more and more
people are working in this field.
Also a good example to show Impact Factor is really not a good indicator to
show the paper quality on one journal. |
