从SCImango查找的ranking, 有几个journal排名是十几或者是三十几的，但是由于领域
内journal数目比较多，有的是500多。所以这样排三十几的也是Top 10%...
请问这样的要claim吗？还是只claim Top 10 的。多谢。 |

感觉SJR或者Google scholar收录的更多，是public source的，而且我发表文章的
journal用这两个库查出来排名更好看，就是不知道IO认不认。Thomson要学校IP才能

发帖数: 316 | 8 最近在找path沿线的房子，预算1600，one bed room。主要看了grove st和journal
square两个站,别的地方太贵就没看。
开始主要看grove st.这附近的房子大多都要一个月的中介费。找了几周，网上找加实
地考察。足迹踏遍了这附近的大街小巷，得着机会看的房子就三个。一个是半地下室。另
一个是two bed room，但是任何一个卧室都放不进去双人床。还有一个是房东自己盖的
三层小楼，感觉隔音就不要提了，甚至不结实。其他的都是还没来得及看，就已经签合
同了。
可能还是自己的预算太少，就转而看journal square的房子。journal square和grove
st比起来，实在是有点破，感觉也不安全。找来找去就找了下面这个，1300。下周准备
签合同了。大家有对这片熟悉的吗？这片安全吗？

experimental results) that they deleted from the conference version in their
journal submission.
sometimes, people merge couple of conference papers into one journal submissions.
in any case, journal version should contain enough extra material to
warrant acceptance. |

papers but count top-conference papers toward tenure promoion. But in many
schools, good-journal papers are much valued.:( I personally don't want to
invest time on extending a paper to submit to a journal, because it takes time
but doesn't contribute too much technical novelty over the conference paper (
although >30% new things). But the reality forces us to do so.:( |

当然也有一些比如robotics的比较容易收的journal。另外EE看journal胜过conference
，这里应该有不少EE的兄弟，就像mathematics里有不少CS作理论的一样。 |

online ( which is old and could not reach new requirements now), mine is
much better. I am thinking about send my .bst file to this journal so that
if anyone in the near future needs such kind of .bst file as i did before,
they could save a lot of energy. Is that good? I am hard to imagine what the

papers (only biochemist and biophyist read those journals.). That is why
those journals related molecular biology have a very high IF. |

发帖数: 60 | 39 先简单说下我的paper，大致就是在芯片中发现一个基因在肝癌中低表达，同时与肿瘤
细胞的migration负相关，临床分析表明该基因与病人的survival有很好的相关性，同
时细胞实验动物实验发现该基因能抑制肿瘤的metastasis和angiogenesis，更重要的是
在tumor-bearing mice中注射外源蛋白能抑制肿瘤metastasis，延长小鼠的survival
现在的情况是投nature medicine被直接拒掉，理由是分子机制做的不够清楚，所以接
下来想投IF10-20的journal，我老板的意思是投JCI，JEM或者JNCI，但是我有点不甘心
，想投个IF15+的journal试试，有没有人能给一点指导意见啊？像我这样的paper投哪
家journal比较对口呢？JCO或者PLOS Medicine怎么样？谢谢！ |

说Plos One现在每年都发3万篇了，都快每天100篇了。然后老牌印刷版的每月印的话也
就那么几十篇。发表太多online access的journal会不会对找工作不利呢？是说找
faculty的工作，谢谢！ |

有个UC Davis的professor说是 "Spammy Journal Invitation". 不过看了看已经发过
的paper, 貌似应该是个还可以的journal. |

这些的IF大致在4 到 3 左右。
但有些Econ的顶级Journal也是被认可的，比如:AER, JPE, QJE等等。
也有些做Finance的发到 JAE, JAR等accounting 杂志上。这年头似乎Accounting 的比
Finance的好过些，top journal 多。
另外二档的JCF 也很不错的说，看最近几年IF的话，比JFQA都高。
希望Finance多点top journal, 大家日子好过些。 |

志，突然老板strongly recommend我投递一个别人邀请他发表的journal。这个杂志主
编介绍什么所谓invitation only。可是这是一个新杂志的第一期，3年内没有影响因子
，我有点犹豫，不想自己努力了这么久的东西最后投递到一个不着普的journal。 |

发帖数: 107 | 49 我有一篇paper。问题和结论都比较有趣（referee的话，投了一个偏理论的journal被
reject了），但证明的部分没有什么自己的high theory，引用了统计和数学的一些定
理，并举了一些例子（证反部分）就证出来了。referee认为：首先该journal喜欢理论
（game theory等）玩的比较深的，我的paper主要是引用别人的，更像统计或数学的
paper；其次可以削减篇幅，也可以搞成notes的形式，可能比较易于发表。
想问一下这类paper适合往什么journal投，如果改成简短的note的形式又可以往哪投呢
。我自己不是经济专业的，coauthor的professor是经济学家，可惜前不久去世了。我
本来主要负责的是technical part。这个professor去世前本想发review of econ
studies，但现在我感觉可能econ letters这种更合适一点。不知大家什么意见。 |
