Browns special teams ace Joshua Cribbs is fuming over the NFL’s decision to
change kickoffs.

Chicago bears. They still kick off at the 30 yard line in their first
preseason game.
OK, technically can you take a cheap 5 yard penalty to move the kickoff back
to 30 yard line? Although the other team can decline the penalty. |

touchback so that they could evaluate their kick return coverage. They
actually got an OK from NFL and Bills' coaches in advance.

他没有把球踢的远远的（say, touchdown zone)，相反，球踢的很近，我猜他打算让球
多滚一会，可以kill time，或者自己可以抢到球。但我觉得没有这必要啊。把球踢远
了，对方基本不可能翻盘的。请高手释疑。

And the penalty is not "start at the 30 yard line" as you stated, rather, it
is starting at 30 yards FROM the kickoff spot: Kickoff made at 30, now

Hester had two more returns for TD that were not counted in the above stats. One is the missed field goal against NYG (108 yards as you mentioned) and one is the SB kickoff return against Colts (post season kickoff returns do not count in the stats).
So the real total should be 16.

味精的思路太清楚了 所以我这样的球盲都能看的一清二楚
味精放走了PH跟Winfield 签了建宁跟卡嫂
所以最缺的位置是CB 需要补充的位置是WR oline跟dline
Floyd放到23位还没人摘 这个评分第二被人预测不是前三就是前五的大个DT很郁闷
Spielman当机立断 拿下。。。
看得出Floyd对那个位置颇有些失望 但是加入个playoff球队 其实这机会不错
Rhodes的选秀也很不意外
人高马大的CB面对北区的Megatron，Marshall和龙哥一票武器 应该是个不错的投资
不出意外 这俩应该会首发了
Patterson是个豪赌也是个冒险
这家伙是个潜力巨大但是也说不准就bust的家伙
有了建宁跟庞德好基友卤豆腐 Patterson的压力和生存环境应该还不错
而且他应该会从return开始他的紫衫之路
三四轮都豪赌进去了 没话说
还有个第四轮紧跟着就选了个OLB 对于味精二流的dline是个很好的补充
吃了walsh甜头 第五轮让人有些出乎意料的选了个punter

都没提，那就是特别队special team.
这话不假，special team有其special属性。return的时候，有比平常进攻多得多的，
可以操纵的空间。当kick时，又有足够隐蔽的缺省play。所以特别队的trick play
那叫一个天马行空。没有太多规律可寻。(想起来做特别队的教练真是一件很有意
思的事情)。兄弟在这个列几个成功的特别队花招，欢迎大家补充。
1)音乐城奇迹：2000年初的季后赛第一轮，水牛城在最后关头领先泰坦3分(还是4分?)
, 轮到泰坦接kickoff return, 老TE持球作往右边跑状，吸引水牛城的兵力，然后
一个有争议的lateral传到左边给WR Dyson, 由于水牛城特殊队扑得太猛，左翼成了
泰坦的阳光大道。结果Dyson踢地，泰坦翻盘，典型的声东击西。
2)去年NFC季后赛上，Division round, 公羊作客猎鹰。猎鹰接kickoff return的阵

if no team scores on their first procession, the old OT rules apply, and
that means first team score wins, even with a FG.
A safety will end the game, as it is scored by the opposing defense.
It also seems like onside kick is no different than regular kickoff as far
as the OT rules are concerned.
But it still does not answer this scenario: if the kicking team recover the
