50% off select knives.
I searched through and found some nice looking knives, particularly the
Columbia River Knives, and SOG.
They're generally much more expensive (50-100) for people who just want
cheap daily-carry knives, but I thought some might be interested (I'm going
to pick up one of these guys for fun)

Actually, I did not see any difference in cutting performance, so it's up to
you to get it or not... I personally like.

usage
for DM-0718 it is 89$ on clearance. Shun Classic Santoku 7" holly ground
almost all shun are on 40% discount. but on my research, both of them are
the most valueable. my wife just tried them yesterday. the 7" santoku is
worth for that 100$ price.

a free Thanksgiving Dinner is provided free of charge for international
students in my university. We all used the forks and knives. The other one
is Boxing Day dinner after Xmas. School canteen provides KFC and we bring
door prize for exchange. Just use the hands for KFC, I guess.
It is amazing most whites in the Chinese restaurants here can use chopsticks
without any problems. Just like we Chinese. |

Shun Ken Onion handle knives @ my local Williams Sonoma (Maple Grove, MN)
for a pretty good deal.
I was able to pick up the 9" Carving Knife for 109.99 + tax = 117.99
My brother was able to pick up the 7" Santoku for 99.99 + tax = 106.99 (
Retails on amazon for 199.99)
I was told by one of the salespeople that Williams Sonoma is no longer

Knives made with very high quality steel is equally sharp as your $5 knives
after proper sharpening. The expensive knives only last longer or have other

Unless you do a lot of slicing on abrasive materials S30V has little
advantage over simple carbon and low alloy steels and is much more expensive
. CPM are mostly used for large knives or combat/field knives.
Takefu stainless steel is one of the widely used steels in Japan for kitch
