we do that for lanlan once or twice a month when there is no menu item she
likes
tripple decker is her favorite (learened from what's provided in school)
3 pieces of bread, between 2 pc put in PB (or chocolate hazelnut jiang4)
the other 2 pc put in jelly, cut in 2 triangles
then add a banana, a box of milk/juice
done, much cheaper than $2.5 school lunch :P |

lanlan went to field trip, and teacher required their lunch to be all
disposable, i.e. no lunch box etc. everything can be thrown away.
I even saw a kids bring a bag of pasta! and eat from it with fork, hoho

after u pindown using bobby pin, put in hairnet, and tuck it using bobby pin
too.
try to find things in black (pin and net) some of stuff here are brown.
if u feel it too challenging, u should check with ballet studio whether they
have ppl who do hair for money. lanlan's studio has a woman does it for $10
. After watching for once, u may be able to do it. not hard! |

only read to kids.. kids and I like the stories.
now lanlan finished reading all English part of the berenstein bears (the
english version is at the end of each book), hoho
we use very simple book for reading (plus Chinese textbook).
maybe 2-3 yrs old leve in China
but again, their native language is English I think, their English is
certainly better than 6-7 yrs old in China, balace out lah |

I have nothing against target backpack, it's not that durable, but it's very

she was among the youngest, but academically/socially she was ready.
academically now, she is in the top group in the class.
for a girl, not being a leader is all right I think.
if a boy, I think being the older one is important. Plus boys mature later
