比赛场地
美式橄榄球是在一块长360英尺（即120码，109.73米）宽160英尺（即53.33码，48
.8米）的长方形场地上进行，场地多为草坪或人造草坪，形状如下图所示。图中四列短
线为一码线（One Yard Hash Marks），每两线之间的距离为1码，用于帮助裁判和队员
判断队员或橄榄球所在的位置，与之相应的横向长线为五码线（Five Yard Line）和10
码线（Ten Yard Line），其间距离为5码，其作用与一码线相同；场地中两边的数字以
50码处中场线划分，50码之前的数字为距离自己防守底线的距离，中场之后的数字为到
达对方底线得分线所需的距离；场地两段0码线为得分线（Goal Line），之外的10码区
为达阵区（End Zone），对方队员带球入区或在区内得球，均为达阵得分；沿球场长度

今天才看到84号文章，佩服佩服，写了那么多，很详细，
我再来加几句吧。
规则是说进攻方必须在四次控球时前进10码，不是3次。当然
大多数情况下，如果三次没过10吗，进攻方多是PUNT，踢给
对方球。一个很好看的打法是FAKE PUNT，即假装要踢球了，
队形都战好了，却突然间打了个PASS或RUN 进攻，拿到10码。
因为突然性强，往往奏效，当然偶尔为之，不能常干。
关于身体对抗，当双方队员都努力压迫对手时，一个重要的
差别在于，进攻方的队员只能用手掌推对手，用身体挡，不能
拉，拽，摔对方，而防守队员则什么都可以干。这就是为什么
QUTERBACK 要尽量快处理掉球，因为进攻方的LINEMEN 在这种
规则下不可能总挡住对方的冲击。由此，场上如果有了HOLDING
的犯规，多半是OFFENSIVE HOLDING。
不是场上所有的进攻队员都有权利接QUTERBACK 的球的。中间的
LINEMEN 是肯定不可以的，如果QUTERBACK 传给了他们，是

欧洲人里面意大利人和西葡人（包括拉美西葡人）都是出名的娘炮，一次大战和二次大

只有德国人和北欧人还可以玩玩美式足球，但纯白人的速度和柔韧性太差，打打90多号
的linemen没问题，quarterback也可能行，但runningbacks这些关键位置就成了命门了。

既然有网友问了，而84号文的原作者不知道哪里去了，我且说一下
FOOTBALL的防守吧。
防守的阵型不是很固定，总是根据对方的进攻阵型来排。一般的
情况是这样的：
前排中间布置七个人，对应进攻方的七人，与进攻不同的是，防守的
七人分前后两排站位，前排一般是四个LINEMEN，统称Front Four。
中间两个叫Defensive Tackle；靠外面的两个叫Defensive End。略
靠后一点的是三个Line Back。
在这Front 7后面，中间有两个Safety，靠前一点的是Strong Safety，
后一点的是Free Safety。另外，左右一般对应对方的Wide Receiver
的有两个Corner Back。这四个人统称Secondary。
所以，阵型一般是这样的：

If you want to run the football you need the line to give enough push to
create the hole. Also, did not we rank almost No. 1 in division 1 on fumble?
When the line is weak, ball security is a big problem.
I think this is a transient year for us. The o-line must face much beefier D
-line in Bigten and I am not sure when the conference game starts how can we

3rd: much easier for you to see the blocking scheme of the linemen

well except the first play when Ike Taylor was burned by M. Harrison-- I think
he was too aggressive to support running. In the most times, steelers D used
the formation of 2 linemen, 3 linebackers, and 6 DBs. I think this was pretty
successful against colts D but Steelers O did stink a lot.

加上以前读过的一些内容, 摘要如下.
** 20-Yd Shuttle:
向右跑五码, 折回往左跑十码, 再转身跑完最后五码.
这种对改变方向的灵活性的测量对line-backers尤其重要.
今年去了Combine的39位line-backers中只有A.J. Hawk的3秒97是4秒以内.
** Bench Press:
225磅(就是横杠两边各加两个最大的圈), 躺下来能推多少个就推多少个.
Linemen一般应该能推25个左右. Lendale White 只有15个,
比他轻40磅的Reggie Bush 24个, 连USC的punter都推了14个. Mario Williams 35个.
Bench Press 可能是最体现气魄的了.
几年前有个叫Fred Smoot的, 非常出色的corner,
但在combine用尽吃奶之力只推了一个, 沦为圈内笑柄, 从前十名一直滑到第二轮.
我记得记录是有人推了53个.

的希望就是靠front D-linemen来push搞pass rush，然后指望wilma抵消clark，多搞几
个不同的coverage schemes争取多拖住白菜一阵子，靠安全卫 two-deep防止big play
。对小马give up yards不要紧，争取在红区防住几个td是正经，不早早的被拉开比分
。小马今年的running attack不如以前，nfl倒数第一，如果圣人能够顶住short
yardage，逼着白菜往tight window里面扔，起码防住td的机会多一点。
圣人进攻还是要靠pass，疯狂的pass，本来就是pass-set-up-run的team，这个时候想
改变identity太晚了。Thomas和bush本来也不是dominant rb。
圣人的特工队这次任务重大，虽然brees不需要short field，但是考虑到小马的
passing game，brees要早早做好shoot-out的准备，不停的给小马的offense pressure
