如果去做maintence，估计没有1000$回不来，，，
自己查了一下，各种油，好像都正常。开车也没有什么问题。
不知道大家有什么建议。一定要去么?? |

发帖数: 2896 | 3 我96年的车，买车头5年在车铺弄的，maintence+fix共花3600$。去年开始diy，花了
800$ for tools and parts，其中300$的parts还没装，主要是ball joints。因为买了
以后觉没以前那么响了，又有点忙，所以先不换。
Mobil 1全合成机油据我观察大概能用9个月/7000迈。一个月前刚diy换过第二次。
版上的diy高手看看正常吗？明年到90000迈，希望能用100$做dealer600$的maintence
，主要是换atf，准备把torque converter plug拔下来换彻底一点，12 qt. |

A young man came to help. He first tried to use tools to clear the toilet
but failed. Then he used his bare hand to clear the toilet.
It took only 1 minute for the toilet to be cleared.
Well done. They were good. |

漏了看着办。
150k有点高啊，旧车保养还不如用来练手。车铺maintence是便宜，修起来就是另一回
事了。 |

o2 sensor。60000迈maintence和电池在dealer家做的。
去年clunker的时候想了半天，没换，买了一堆工具自己玩，又换了刹车、tie rod end
，机油机滤，fuel filter，air filter，coolant，不算工具的话很便宜，算上工具感
觉和车铺弄差不多，还是好几百。 |

换BALL JIONTS?你觉得手头的工具足够吗？
有个方法可以把旧的ATF全部放出来，变速箱液有一进一出的两根冷却管，先松车底放
油螺栓放油，大概
可以放到5QT的样子，把螺栓还原，加大概3QT新变速箱液，然后下掉冷却出来的那根接
头，用一根管子
导油，打开发动机，变速箱液会源源不断的出来，观察液体的颜色会逐渐变亮，到新油
出来的时候，马
上关掉发动机，还原冷却管，加变速箱液，此方法大概可以换90%的旧油。
如果你要换油滤，上了新油滤垫片等重新密封还原后再采用此方法，也照样可以放出部
分旧油。
我的两部车都是前不久采取此方法换的，感觉还不错，youtube上面有教程。

不管新旧，在著名黑店换油、做大保养的，买了推荐的不必要服务的，说明车主没常识
，减分；大保养在
dealer那做的，说明车主准备用很长时间，加分。
新车大保养不去dealer做的，说明车主贪便宜，减分。
diy的卖家，如果确认人品可信，加分。
总之，懂车的车主通常不会太差。 |

我一直是这样，我开dodge的车就只去附近的5 star dodge dealer修车。毕竟自己造的
自己懂得更多。平时也喜欢去我这个车型的英文论坛逛逛，和老美司机交流心得。这样
子maintence也不花多少钱，有问题也可以自己先心里清楚。 |

因为要搬到北方，想买一辆AWD而且trunk能多放点东西的wagon，选中Outback。两个星
期之前去本地两家dealer那试车，感觉还不错。之后开始给附近200mile之内所有
dealer发信问价。收到回信之后用最低价让dealer们PK，如此几回合，本地另一家
dealer给了一个比较不错的报价，(有一个100mile之外的dealer说可以$24950，但是要
先付定金，我们懒得再花时间，于是上个星期六去本地那家dealer了挑了一俩Satin
White的，说好这周末去提车。今天早上去提车，很顺利。
sales说前3years/30000mile maintence免费，不知到是不是。。另外是不是第一个
3000mile的时候要去换机油？ |

出了warrenty的时间就开始来毛病，这是我们第3个车了。没哪台7年之内不出毛病的。
。一般是4年的时候开始出妖俄子。
我算了下，我是贷的5年，加这个extended 就是每个月28刀，总共多1680而已。可是多
了4年or 65000mile，还行吧。maintence也在里面了。算下来就是一年400刀。无所谓

推荐做3，750 mile maintence:
"your mileage is probably now around 3055 miles and/or your vehicles is 2.5

刚才打电话给卖我车的那人，结果他说不用这么早做维护。车子刚买时自带的油还好些
的，我可以等到7500 miles时再做，就行了。
两边说法不一样，那我现在不知做不做好呢？我很少出过门，平时只上下班用，一天最
多开个5 miles,都不知何时才能开到7500 miles呢（按这个里程数来算的话，我估计我
2年内都不用做维护了）。我所在的地方，这两个月天气太热了，我开的多是local的，
就不知engine oil是不是比较容易变质呢？谢谢！ |

change at Honda dealer. For 60K, my car showed A 3, and there is a sheet
showing what you need to change when it shows A3. The oil change person also
check the car, and make some recommendation for repair/maintence. You
decide whether you want to fix them or not. For must repair, the mechanic
will strongly recommend you to do, for optional, it's ur decision. That's it

保养的不错。不过carfax report显示曾经有accident report，内容是it hit a curb,
disabling damage reported, vehicle towed. 事故之后车又开了两年，8月底在三菱
的dealer那刚做了two wheel alignment和recommended maintence, maintenance
inspection.
请教下这样的车有没有购买价值？多谢了 |

when we deal with car maintence at home, the number 1 issue is safety.
the number 2 is cost.
I would suggest that a fat man uses a floor jack and jack stands to change
oil.
If you have a decent floor jack. Lifting a car and putting stands under it
just
takes about 30 seconds.
And a floor jack and jack stands is a tool you must have for car
maintainence. |
