八月初去了向往已久的阿拉斯加，美景，野生动物和钓鱼自然是三大目标。
下了飞机，购物然后就是一路狂奔，直指Denali。小睡2小时就被朝霞换醒。
到了Denali Camper Bus的车站，自然是要拍下这顶帽子。
目的地是Wonder Lake的Campground，一路上美景不断，惊喜连连。
这是人人都拍的地标性景致。
路上停车小憩。

Moose也不甘示弱
不如意事常八九，到了营地，McKinley不愿出来，只好在蓝莓环绕的营地扎下帐篷，在
雨中甜蜜的呼呼，真累了。
次日，提前出来，沿着颠簸的Denali HWY向Valdez出发，途中打尖Tangle River。可
钓Greyling，所以老爸拍照，儿甩杆。

两天内目睹几千只鹤从Mt Mckinley北边飞过。惊叹它们几千哩的旅程可以如此精确。

着体力好能吃苦的年纪，背上爬山和露营的装备，登上了去往Anchorage的飞
机。
这次旅行主要去了四个地方:
拥有北美洲第一高峰的Denali National Park
物产丰富的海边渔港Seward
冰川和海峡怀抱之中的油港Valdez
熊的王国Katmai
第一站：Denali National Park
Denali国家公园是户外爱好者的乐园，壮观的阿拉斯加山脉（Alaska Range）斜挎整个
公园，巨大的冰川，冰河随处可见。
群山之中，最出类拔萃的是北美洲最高峰Mt. McKinley，他的巍峨不仅仅因为其20,320
feet (6,194 m)的海拔高度，更因为他是世界上山顶山脚垂直落差最大的山峰18,000
feet (5,500 m)。即使是世界最高峰Mt. Everest，也只有垂直落差12,000 feet (3,
700 m)。由于我们大多是从山脚下仰望大山，如此的落差对视觉的冲击真是无法形容。

去年三月我们从安卡拉奇开车去 Denali National Park, 公路的积雪虽然已经
清扫掉,但因为前夜的大雪,仍然寒冷得很.天空阴沉,万木萧索.
书上说我们应该可以看到 Mount Mckenley,我们也在计算迈数.但一路高山绵延,
到了一处似乎群山都高出许多的地域,雪峰与天空相接,我们无法分辨哪处才是
顶峰,但应该就是 Mount Mckenley 了.
回来取道另外的道路,见到三座阿拉斯加东南部最高的山峰.那天天气极晴朗,阳
光明亮,白云缭绕,积雪的山峰与蔚蓝天空相亲相爱,是我今生见到的最美的景致.
西边仍是群峰,时时有高峰出现,我只能猜想那个最高的就是 Mt. Mckenley 了.
哪年的夏天我会再去的. |

麦金利山在阿拉斯加的中部, 确实是三座连绵高耸的山峰,
分别是叫弗雷克峰, 亨特峰和麦金利峰. 虽然海拔高但是攀登难度不算大.
曾经有一盲人妇女登顶的壮举.
BTW: 我原文中一个spelling mistake, 应该是Mc Kinley

我记得登顶来回也需要3周, 但是山上没有refuge, 要自己准备帐蓬等许多器材.
估计单挑的话很不容易, 就算能上的去, 也未必有钱准备得起三周的物资.
还有麦峰是世界上最寒冷的山之一, 因为地处阿拉斯加..

呵呵,是呵是呵,我还是三月去的呢,想开车跨越北极圈那条线,因为相信了旅游书
上的信息,以为那个加油站还开着,走了一段就觉得不对了.那条路上半小时没有
一辆车经过,见到的一二辆都是巨大的货车.我们好不容易才拦了一车,人家司机
极不愿意地停下来,问清楚那个加油站到七八月才会开,再下一个就是百迈以外了.
我们看看油箱,到那圈线那儿估计还是够了,呵呵,然后就在那儿等着冻死吧.
只好在那里留了影,是在这地球上到过的最北地,之后只好灰溜溜地下山了.下山
的时候吉普车打滑,差点儿没一直冲下山去.呵呵.
出去问路照相的几分钟,我都被冻冰,风极大,我们放在三角架的相机都被吹得转了
一圈,还好,是给我们照完之后.那份冰冷,呵呵,到骨头里呵.
你真要爬,也得夏天,冬天春天都是送命吧.那顶上风速好象有100+ mph in the

Leave nothing in the mountains. Expeditions have
climbed Denali and have carried out everything
brought in including their human waste. The most
important part of clean climbing is planning
ahead.
· Litter Removal:
Everything MUST be carried off the mountain. Each
person must make a strong personal commitment to
remove all of their garbage, excess food, fixed
lines, and all other equipment. Sleds or haul bags
make excellent descent towing bags, allowing an

The Expedition
The expedition should consist of at least two to
four members. A larger expedition of four or more
provides greater inherent strength and self-rescue
capability. Expeditions should not exceed 12
members. A group composed primarily of individuals
who have not climbed together tends to be a weak

"As we made our way slowly, we were surprised to
see figures ahead. We could make out two climbers
sitting in the snow, with equipment strewn all
around them...they were two lads of about twenty.
One was wearing a black silk glove that had ripped
apart to reveal yellowing fingers, frozen solid;
the other was just sitting stupefied in the snow,
his head bowed over his own useless, frozen hands.
