2018.
I know a number of people managers from Merck who don't have a PhD. Their
titles are principal scientists or associate directors, 1-2 levels above
fresh PhDs. But they have been there for more than 10 years.

我目前在30-40学校当AP, 第四年
一年前，有一家中型药厂给我principle scientist的位置
大概就是个小group leader管3-5人
我拒绝了, 因为lab都有十人了. 问了可不可以给Director位置, 他们说拿了天牛再谈
谈看吧
最近，我之前的老板要去Merck新的湾区site做一个挺高的位置
问我有没有兴趣跟他一起去, 有机会拿Director 或 associate director的位置
前老板觉得我的课题比较translational
方向也是他们想要重点攻克的领域
所以觉得这对我是个特别的机会
我目前考虑的点在于
1. 湾区生活费高, 网上换算cost of living, 得出需要有220k薪水才能有我在目前城
市的生活水平

里面有SSN之类的东西。我的经验是这种form一般都是onsite才用，或者是拿到offer后
再说的。但Email里面说要先填这个才能get to the next stage. 要求把填好的表格发
到一个***@merck.com的email，查了一下email应该是Merck一个HR的。不过感觉还不是
很保险，希望知道的大侠帮忙看一下，多谢！

Peter S Kim (PSK) 看来也不是一个好的manager。管理上万研发人员光靠科学水平已
经不够了，尤其是生物医药这种非常speciallized的行业，很多靠下面几级人员的素质
。看这个评论PSK挑的人不怎么样。

近三年工作经验）聊天，发现人家的待遇太好了：base+bonus ~ 15万(第一年sign on
