I work for a small company for a few years. When I was in school, I learned
about SDLC and Waterfall model.
In company that I worked, we talked about we should do "Extreme Programming"
, "Scrum Development" and "Agile" etc for a while. However, even we kept
mentioning those terms once a while, I did not really feel we followed any
of those methodologies. We may use some ideas such as breaking down project
to small and frequent release, having frequent meeting between developers

我个人学习的一点心得,市场分析,无论是TA/FA/MA/Whatever A.
大部分人学到的都是方法,比如MACD金叉，balabala.
但其实最重要的是掌握方法论。
如果对这两个概念有混淆，举个例子，不知道大家有没有
读过麦肯锡的报告http://www.mckinseyquarterly.com/home.aspx
每个报告提出的解决方案是不一样的，也就是使用的方法是不一样的，
但麦肯锡核心价值，也就是其方法论是基本不变的。至于它的方法
论是什么，可以读一下，The Mckinsey Way这本书，虽然不可能
了解其真正的核心，但起码知道一些。
回过头来，我以前在股版发过一些比较长的文章，其中包括

This is a very good program in survey methodology field. Actually there are
not many programs about survey research. As I know, it is not very hard to
find a job with such a major. You may work as a research analyst or
statistical analyst on your graduation in a survey company or market
research company. Here I suppose you go study for Master degree. But if you
go study Ph.D, you may find a job like survey researcher or survey

editor 让major revisions,说topic has potential。 其实，我文章的methodology
是follow JPE 一篇文章。 referee 说methodology 有大问题，是根据一篇未发表的
working paper。 而且这篇working paper 直接挑战JPE的文章的methodology.
如果按照referee的comment， 我基本上要重新design tests and redo everythting.
所以我计划methodology 不变， 作些额外的简单tests证明我的methodology没有大问

可以感觉你的这个老师应该是专门的pure dry lab吧。那么他自然有他自己的

在我看来，很多人把bioinformatics和benchwork彻底划分开，是非常愚蠢的。或许90
年代刚兴起的时候，那时候运算能力低，各种算法软件都没有，而且能做bioinfor的单
位也很少（比如human genome project），所以需要非常专业的计算机人才来做。但现
在完全不同，各种program平台都有了，每个独立的小实验室都有sequencing数据，都
需要相关人才。
bioinform作为新兴的科学，那你可以质问你的老师：你一开始就是做这行的吗? 明显
他也不是。他也是从其他的学科转到bioinfor的，对不对？既然你能做成功，我为什么
不能做成功？我比你年轻，平台更好。所以我最不爽那些倚老卖老或者仗着自己是数理
出身觉得自己很了不起的所谓的bioinformatician

鉴于Amber把假包当真包卖已经触犯了法律，不仅犯了卖假货侵犯版权的罪最主
要的是犯了Fraud,把假的当真的卖，诈骗罪跑不了，目前我打算也希望板上的妹子们一
起报案，虽然我们不是受害人，但是这个罪行触及众怒，影响和北美华人姐妹之间的互
