The only thing though, is that my hand tends to be 磨破 once
I switch a racket. Their grip sizes are different. I have 4 1/4,
4 3/8 and 4 1/2. I feel Wilson's 4 1/4 equals to others 4 3/8.

without paying attention to fundamentals, such as $1/piece overgrip, your
hand will continue to 磨破. In fact, whenever you get a used/new racquet,
the first thing you should do is to put a new overgrip on it. For me, for
maximum 2 weeks or 5 times play, I need to replace the overgrip. Also
overgrips are different. Some free or cheap ones suck. The best are Wilson
Pro (white), Yonex Supergrap (White) or Tourna Grip (blue). These |

grip shapes, they push on my palm at different locations, thus the
磨破, //sigh.
I hope one day when my whole palm is full of 老茧，it won't 磨破

Take your own advice bah - buy a $25 costco wilson and use it until you feel
like the racket itself is holding you back. |

holding back since last summer already, hehe. I am eager to
sell it...
Those old craps I bought from thrift stores, although under $10,
were all players rackets back then. They are all heavy and head
light. They feel at least as solid as the Head LM level rackets.

It does look PP though (with a kick-ass bag) and it's in absolute
perfect condition.
I also need to sell my Head TiS1. Also perfect condition. I even
spent $20 to get it re-strung. Big mistake, //sigh. That racket
just need to touch a ball and the ball will be out... |

70? For someone who claims to be a 2.2740928, I really don't think you need
to worry about THAT racket holding you back, right?

I think it's a fun hobby digging around for old cheap rackets - maybe you'll
find a gem - and that's both cool and rewarding.

Although it's good enough for my level, I am able to tell the
difference between it and a, say, Wilson Mid85 (which should
feel much more similar to a BLX90 than a Head Radical). So
if I like the Wilson Mid more, I may consider to buy a BLX90
in the future. That's the direction I am trying to go.

chase gear too much - it's a slippery slope.
Every year there will be new models - and they will feel 'slightly'
different - even if that difference is 99% psychological.
I've never used the mid85 so I can't comment on it - but I kinda doubt it
will feel similar to the blx90 - if the blx90 is very similar to the k90
then it would feel pretty similar to my ps6.0 - which, judging from the beam
design should be pretty diffe |

the other is $99. The demo racket is the last one that has grip size of 3/8.
I cannot find any trace of usage on the demo racket. Guess they changed the
head guard, replacement grip and grommet all together. Seems demo racket is
not bad for its price at all.
