that there was a strong head wind. I didn't even notice the wind at the
time. I think it's because I run a lot of uphills, and that I'm heavier, so
I'm not affected by the wind very much. At least psychologically, I'm not
affected by the wind at all - I often enjoy running into the wind.

hit in the net. Most of the times I was in good position, but my opponent

with the next volley or overhead. That caused your volley to be out of
sideline. Try to hit deeper volleys, with more punch.
I feel that many amertures are hitting volley too short. Then, I'll always
move forward when I see a volley coming. That gives me much more chance to
get it back with good passing. But some of my partners hit volley mostly
deep. That is harder to handle and they might get an easy volley even if I

Also, I think I might not be moving too well and could be stretching somewhat.
Next time, I will try to be a little more conservative and try to gain advantage instead of trying of hitting a winner.

15 minutes before playing a match with someone. I know that practice is
really important, but it is hard to find a practice partner.
My volley is ok during the short practice time mostly because the ball was

5xBB is pretty big from here already for a normal (not too loose) table.
after all, you want one or two callers for profit with your AA (not just
collecting blinds), 10xBB is just too much. anything in between won't make a

many times.
that's why they say there's never a "correct" way to play a hand, it all
depends on situations. sounds abstract, but it is true indeed.
he puts you on a hand, most likely over pair, or at least TPTK. with your
action like that, any one would put you in a narrow range (AA is for sure in
it). he knows he's ahead, but by how much? his bet is more like protecting
a hand and wants to stop.
