Treasury bond market, pushing down benchmark 10-year note's yield from the
highest levels in more than two years.

"contract" means that it can end after some years, or sooner, you'll never
know.
"tenured" means that you have this job for ever. However, I guess that you
are probably on a tenure-track, then you need to pass the evaluation to get
your tenure. 6 years is typical, and there are mid-evaluation every two or
three years.
If you can choose, a tenure track position is better. |

Professor职位，non-tenure-track，教学为主。当然就不那么满意。
求有经验的前辈分享一下：
（1）Adjunct AP 的合同可以一直续下去吗？还是3-5年上限?
（2）Full-time Adjunct AP的H1B学校会帮助申请吗？
（3）作为spouse，本校内部Adjunct AP如果表现不错的话，有机会转tenure-track吗
？要不要把tenure-track eligible写一下或者什么的？
（4）LD明天面试，需要aggressive的表达她自己的tenure意愿吗？
（5）作为我而言，需要PUSH一下我的系头，再来争取一下LD的tenure-track吗？还是
这个ADJUNCT的职位已经木已成舟了？

暴跌还是不太寻常的。虽然BAC本身存在不少问题，但是CFC的merger是压在BAC股价上
的一朵大乌云，这也是市场疯狂做空的主要动力之一。因为现在谁也不知道CFC里面的
水有多深，这种不确定性是市场最厌恶的，所以对于MER分析师开出的１０－２０
billion的write down价码宁可信其有不可信其无。因此除非有这方面的消息，BAC的股
价可能会疲软相当一段时间的。
偏偏Wachovia对Golden West的收购失败和CEO被逐给CFC/BAC Merger做了很坏的注解。
那么BAC会不会是下一个Wachovia? 不见得。这不仅仅因为Wachovia花了25 billion而
BAC只花了4 billion，更重要的是timing，倒霉的Wachovia当时没看见次贷危机而踩响
了地雷，而同样是due diligence，BAC这次应该不会这么傻的，就象因为different
