道住哪里好些？还有去那边玩是不是坐地铁比开车找停车场方便些呢？主要是带着一家

乡下冒着大雨赶来看MUSEUM，先后换乘汽车，火车，地铁，CAB，终于到了MET门口，这种
不畏万难的精神是值得偶们OUTDOOR版的广大FZ学习的。

IT IS CALLED “MOVING PICTURES”
事前是LAB一个同事推荐说值得一看，偶春天一直没空去。
总体印象： 嗯，看不懂的说。真的，几乎什么也没看懂。都是现代艺术啊，但就是不知
道要表现什么意思。
大多是画，摄影和VIDEO片段，都很新的，色彩，技术都好，就是看不明白。

里。
vizcaya museum & gardens可以简单的说是一个bayview的mansion，但更像是一个艺术
博物馆。它有一个大house和gardens。最初的设计是3个建筑师仿照400年的Italian
estate建造的。屋里的每一处都充满了艺术气息。比如墙纸是欧洲油画。在一个早餐屋
子里还看到了我们明代嘉靖年间制的青花瓷器。任何细微之处都很有观赏价值。尽管大
多数艺术品都是仿造品，但你仍然会感叹这个屋子的富丽堂皇和建筑家的独具匠心。遗
憾的是不能拍照。走出mansion，面朝biscayne bay，非常漂亮。院子里随处可见仿欧
洲的雕塑。

两天时间，希望能“两日看尽罗马花”。对罗马心驰以久，从小就知道古罗马是第三个
横跨欧，亚，非三洲的大帝国，虽不是第一， 但无疑是最伟大的一个，意大利文化对
世界文明的影响大多自伊始。作为古帝国的首都，罗马千年来的容光不由置疑。加上
Roman Holiday里赫本被问及最喜欢哪个城市时的回答 “Rome! By all means, Rome.
I will cherish my visit here in memory as long as I live”， 罗马在心里的地
位极高。如果只能参观一个意大利城市， 那无疑是： Rome。
第一天在B&B吃过cappuccino和甜点后，立刻赶到Vatican Museum。8点多还没人排队，
正好individual tour还有空位，立刻报名参加。这里经过历任教皇几百年的经营，建
筑和装饰都是极其富丽堂皇，除了最知名的Sistine Chapel和Raphel Room，还收集了
其它很多雕塑和绘画瑰宝，称它是罗马最精彩的博物馆大概不会有人反对，所以最 |

Bradley机场旁边，除了常规飞行史展览，还有模拟驾机等有趣活动。康州各镇图书馆
常有航空博物馆的free/promotion pass出借。我们前几年趁着圣诞假期去玩：
正逢雪后，开车倒没问题，但可惜的是室外展馆不开放，只能隔着篱笆恋恋瞅一眼：
据说这里有一架米格17，涂81军徽，可能是从志愿军缴获的。上面没一架是吧？
室内飞机按时间顺序贴几个：
这是1914年1月1日，莱特兄弟发明飞机十年零29天之后，世界第一个常规航班在弗罗里
达启航，起降点为St. Petersburg和Tampa，飞行距离29公里，飞行时间23分钟。每天
两个来回航班，单程机票5美元。第一位乘客是St. Petersburg某前市长。该航班运行
了三个月，载客1204人，之后因旅游季节结束、一战招募美国飞行员、飞机因事故无法
飞行、航空公司没钱再造、St. Petersburg找不到负责运营的航空公司而关门大吉。
