各位前辈好,我目前拿到了3个Offer,目前正在犹豫中,请师兄师姐帮忙给点儿建议吧。
Physics@Boston University TA: $ 18000 + 9000(Summer)
MSE@Stony Brook TA: $ 17000 + 4000(Summer)
Physics@Carnegie Mellon TA或RA (资助金额还不知道)
因为Boston地方似乎比较好,我选择Boston University的重要原因。但是我又觉得CMU
本身的名气很大,而且物理系专业排名稍靠前,所以我又很想去CMU。
SUNY-SB的offer和另外两个相比似乎是差一些,是么?
至于研究方向,我比较倾向于interdisciplinary research,和nanoscience和
bionanotech相关。
万分感谢各位的宝贵建议!

综合性院校对于理科研究生申请博士学位都有发表研究论文的数量要求,比如南京大
学对于从事物理学、化学、天文学、生物学、计算机科学与技术、环境科学与工程、电
子科学与技术和临床医学基础研究的研究生申请博士学位,必须满足下列条件之一:
1、申请人至少在国内外核心刊物上发表三篇与学位论文有关的学术论文(第一作者,
其中有一篇是在SCI索引源刊物上发或被EI(全文检索)收录。
2、有两篇及以上在SCI索引源刊物上发表或被EI(全文检索)收录的与学位论文有关的
学术论文(第一作者)。
这是校研究生院的基本要求,实际上各院系、不同的导师对自己的学生可能会有更高的
要求,比如有的导师要求三篇全部是SCI论文,有的要求发表刊物的影响因子必须大于
多少才算数,还有的要求所发表论文的影响因子总和要大于多少才能毕业。 每年都会

的“引文桂冠奖”获奖名单,名单中首次出现了四位华裔科学家。汤森路透年度引文桂
冠奖开始于2002年,该奖项基于对化学、物理学、医学和经济学领域的学术论文及其引

Thomson Reuters自从2002年起利用自己的引文数据库预测Nobel prize,被提名的人称
为Citation Laureates (who are likely winners of the Nobel Prize now or in
the future),这个称号可以说是远远高于一切什么院士之流,就可以说是准诺奖获得
者。 正式的诺奖宣布是今年10月6日开始。今年由Thomson Reuters预测的Citation
Laureates如下。
物理类今年热门:
拓扑绝缘体: 宾夕法尼亚大学的Charles L. Kane, 德国乌兹堡大学的Laurens W.
