自从看了这个新闻后就非常难过。 我们这这个星期四发生了一场车祸。一个当地的女
孩teenager把一个中国人一家撞了。祖父当场死亡，妈妈7个小时后也死了，一岁的小
baby重伤。警察也联系不到这家人的家人。更让人难过的是那个teenager说是她没有超
速，没有打电话和发短信。所以她最多只会判150天in jail. 而且这家人已经找了律师
，律师自然是帮着她说话，连记者写的笔调都是护这个女孩的。虽然说什么女孩很后悔
，但为什么那么快又去找律师还把责任推卸的干干净净？
那个地方的限速只有25mile. 车祸是在小区内发生的。如果她真的只开了25，怎么可能
把2个大人撞死？25是很慢很慢的。难道我物理很差？而且这个女孩是因为去捡她的手
机而引起的。她说她的手机从车前面的台子上掉了下来，她就一边开车一边捡。 捡的

不过我也是多次租uhaul都碰上这样的问题：车子出来时候是油表读数是满的，开出没
多少就掉下去半格。显然发车时候就没加满。
我觉得最大的可能是：
1.由于uhaul truck的mpg非常低，有些客人还车前加满油的加油站如果离得比较远的话
，最后这段就会烧掉不少油；
2.uhaul租车点也分为Neighborhood Dealer和自己的门店两种。Neighborhood Dealer
一般是Storage，加油站等等。你可以从Neighborhood Dealer那里租还车，但
Neighborhood Dealer一般并不停放很多uhaul的车，如果有人预定，他们经常需要从别
的地方调车过来。调车也会烧掉很多汽油。 |

到了纽约，最大的感觉就是像回到了国内。人多，要靠公共交通，市容脏乱差。以前感
觉海归版的讨论关于国内和美国待遇的对比是很无聊的，因为当时觉得中国和美国是两
个完全不同的style，喜欢哪种就选择哪种就是了，没必要讨论待遇。而到了纽约，才

大家不要骂我，纽约的生活质量比起deep south来还是低不少的。先说大家能上网看到

第一次见到媒体人把这个明白人都懂但是都不敢说的话说得这么直白。赞。
黑人文化的糟粕：只操不养。71%的黑人小孩。--为了自己的享受，成为了黑人问题的
根源之一。
左派文化的糟粕：挑拨种族矛盾,反对枪支--为了收视率，成为了黑人问题的根源之二。
好莱坞文化的糟粕：崇尚暴力，犯罪，宣传反正义，--为了票房，成为了黑人问题的根

政府法律的糟粕：对于违法犯罪的软弱和宽容，--为了选票，成为了黑人问题的根源之

之前看到梦版讨论，一个女的同时date好多男的，然后试图从中选一个敲定。
我结合一下本学期学到的知识来说明一下，这个策略效率是非常低的……
女生都想找到高富帅、性格合得来、又体贴的好gg，这就是一个Optimization Process
。每个女生肯定都会给自己心仪的男生打分，这个分数就是Objective Function f(x)
。找合适gg的过程就是去找 max f(x)。由于现实社会的复杂性，没有一种
Optimization Algorithm能够保证找到最优解，因此各位mm在找gg的时候，心里要有个
度（有限次迭代），否则一辈子都找不到的。
那么之前大家讨论的广撒网的方法，其实类似于Genetic Algorithm，mating pool都是

看到自己NEIGHBORHOOD里面所有注册的用户姓名。 我在95129的COUNTRY LANE， 给所
有NEIGHBORHOOD里面中国姓名的人都发封邮件,只用了40分钟。可是我不能给其他区的
人发信息， 所以需要版主置顶， 召集志愿者。
在NEXTDOOR地图上， 我可以看到95129至少还有以下NEIGHBORHOOD

的学生班，但这些生源要好很多，所以平均下来ｒｉｖｅｒ ｏａｋｅｓ成绩就好一些
。ＴＨ ｒｏｇｅｒｓ 不属于neighborhood学校，只收过了G/T线的学生，成绩自然
