、出生证明啦、结婚证明啦，不一而足。这些个公证在美国的费用并不高，好像10刀就
能搞定一份，但问题是公证人员只公证你的签字是真的。如果你让他们去公证翻译类型
的东西，一般会推荐你去找什么专业的翻译兼公证机构，那样一来开支就大了。而在国
内公证这两年的政策也变得十分繁琐起来。所以我的建议是原则上尽量不去公证。
中文文章和中文引用我以前就介绍过。这些东东你直接用google translate翻成英文就
行。另外知网的大多文章都有英文title的，你只需要copy/paste就行。至于翻成英文
后再去公证，我觉得大可不必，完全是你对自己不自信的标志。
关于出生证明和结婚证明类的材料，我当时的确是费了好多脑细胞的，因为我的含英文
翻译的出生公证书在我刚来米国那一阵子稀里糊涂地交光了，交485时我手头上只有一
份不含英文翻译的公证书。如果重新弄公证书的话，就像版上好多童鞋所说的那样，会
非常麻烦的，特别是我的户口、身份证这类的东西早都过期了。另外，如果我将手头上

公证”，只能开“法院判决书与复印件相符”公证。请问这个是不是就算要补的

certificate是派出所给开的，出生公证Notarial certificates of birth是公证处给
开的。这两个在递485的时候都需要吗？还是只要Notarial certificates of birth就
可以了。
另外，需要准备三份出生公证/证明在材料里吗？
我和LD只放了一份Notarial certificates of birth在各自的材料了，会招来RFE吗？

的确，有网友递交了美国notary的出生公证而受到RFE，要求提交国内公证处的公证。
但是，仍然也有很多网友提交的是美国notary而顺利通过。
所以，如果想保险，那就一次性直接提交国内公证处的公证；或者是先提交美国的
notary，过了最好，要求补材料的话，再来想办法 |

evidence, which is better than the one issued by public notary. A
certificate issued by public notary is only secondly evidence, based on
claims by the applicant.
A certificate issued by public notary is not really a birth certificate.
It is accepted because China did not issue birth certificate back in 70s and
80s.
Your baby's birth certificate issued by hospital is much more reliable since
it is primary evidence. |

then you can mail to Sacramental to get the seal from the CA for 10-15
business day (or you can just go there to get it stamp which will take only
10-20 mins, but driver will be 2+ hours from bay area).
You can get the form from the embassy website.
But I also heard that if you are H1B or Green card, you can do it in the
embassy.
I did this for my father who holds 6 months B2 visa.

just go to your bank. as far as I know, all the banks do it for their
customers, but some may charge a higher fee than public notary does, and you
often need to make an appointment.
for public notary, you can just drop in and it takes 1 minute because what
they do is just verify you are the person who signs the document. so bring

signed by applicant and medical school official, Type B needs to be sighned
by applicant and Public Notary. But there is no form has the signing places

申请mcgill交钱后那个什么MINERVA id什么时候到啊？
两天了，一点消息都没有
不知道要不要继续等下去

Affidavit 多数情况可以用 Declaration 代替。
好处是不需要 Notary Public，便捷省钱省心。
