I-140 approved with Consular Processing though in USA Like this thread?

My I-140 was approved in PP but though I was in USA my attorney choose
Consular processing. How difficult it is to change from CP to AOS as I am
really worried about my next employment opportunity as I may be current in

to April 2008 or further! NVC is not sending these fee notices randomly.

今年10月初从F1调整身份，file了485，过了10天左右，收到了485的receipt
昨天，收到NVC的email两封，

第一封email是 GUZxxxxxxxxxx (ACL FOR WWRO - 10AUG2016)(CC)
内容是 The U.S. Department of State's National Visa Center (NVC) received
your approved immigrant visa petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration
Services.
同时给了invoice id，让选agent
第二封email是 GUZxxxxxxxxx (PAOSF I-130 FOR NEOPOST DS-1200)
内容差不多，给了Affidavit of Support Fee Invoice ，让缴费$120

I bet anything that Mr.O's office provided a list of possible PD dates to
NVC in April. Otherwise NVC wouldn't send out these notices starting from
April.
If we think about the series of events, we would know the big picture.

Some Indians are getting NVC fee notices with PD of June 2008.
Just as what I analyzed yesterday:
1. NVC sent fee notices to PD of 2007 after VB release in April
2. NVC sent fee notices to PD of April 2008 after VB release in May
3. NVC are sending fee notices to PD of June 2008 after VB release in June
It's just like what I predicted. DOS updates NVC on a monthly basis. I think

the US embassy and consular events are also under DOS. NVC is handling
embassy and consular events, so it is directly under DOS. Bascially Mr.O's
office has a closer relationship to NVC than USCIS.

possible to progress with the immigration visa application." 我理解是如果第
二排期是大概一年一定的话（uscis上说nvc会在名额about to become current的时候
和applicant 联系，而immihelp上说about to become current的意思一般是指一年之
内），那至少我今年是肯定没戏了，不然不会说no way of predicting.（其实你们应
该回顾一下之前一个niw走cp的帖子。和他不同的是，我要求缴费的信早就收到，律师
说是等排期到达的前五六个月再缴费。）奥本之前说过cp一般有个qualifying date，
nvc提前几个月收到准备材料的信息并开始审批，在真正有名额之后可以预约面试。

我前两年给夫人申请F2A亲属移民，我夫人H1B，人一直在美国。排期到达后应该直接向
USCIS递交485.
但是昨天收到NVC Welcome Letter，要求开始Consulate process。上网查了一下，只
有申请人在境外的时候才需要通过NVC进行consulate process。
目前没有找到权威的处理办法，向请问一下各位有没有遇上过类似的情况？
我们周一准备给USCIS和NVC分别打电话，看需不需要把case从NVC转回USCIS.

要求在中国面试。
我不知情的情况下给nvc交了钱提交了表格。结果老公说他们搞错了我应该转到uscis并
交485。
给uscis打电话纠正错误结果他们说一定要我终止nvc的process才可以转。
我给nvc打电话永远不接发邮件永远不回。。。

processing，然后IV费、DS260、civil材料刚寄过去。律师说审理30-45天，接下来就
等排期到了就面试。可是第一排期还早，不知道以后要等多久。按道理你也应该和我一
样开始CP程序了啊？难道到现在nvc没有给你进一步消息吗？
：我们是niw，走CP，PD 2014年3月，转到nvc后，就收到nvc的信说，因为visa number

翻出130批准函，USCIS是知道人在美国境内并且需要调整身份的，但是又写到不
eligible调整身份，所以转给NVC，如果认为自己eligible，需联系local USCIS。
Infopass有约不上。
请问这个不eligible只是指排期未到吗？排期到了直接file 485就行，还是要联系
USCIS或NVC把case转回USCIS？
都是自个DIY的，也没个律师可问，求教过来人。

if born after, contact GZ consulate to pay fee and fill out form.
if born after immigrant visa interview, no need to do anything (fill out

我已收到I797，按照上面的说法排期到就可以递交485调整身份，可是昨天突然收到NVC
的一封信，给我了一个GUZ号码和一份让提供地址确认信息的表格。按I797的说法，只
有人在境外case才通过NVC。。。
昨天发了邮件给NVC，可是一直没有回复。请问有我这种情况的朋友么？你们后来是怎
么处理的？

第一步
在获得劳工证明后，未来雇主可在美国劳动局提交I-140申请表。
第二步
被批准的I-140会寄往美国签证中心（NVC），然后再寄往美国驻广州总领事馆。
注意：NVC收到申请费后，会给你邮寄一份移民说明邮包（含Form DS-230）。请根据说
明填写表格并连同所要求的材料寄回NVC。越快递交表格及相关材料，你的申请越快获
得处理。
第三步
在广州领事馆收到你的移民档案，并且你档案排期到后，领事馆会按顺序安排面
谈。
第四步
本馆确定面谈日期后，会给申请人邮寄约见邮包（也称为4号邮包）说明如何准备
面谈资料。申请人需要在面谈前前往指定的医院体检。

我有些申请资料想变更，寄到了NVC。过了几个礼拜没消息，律师说另外一种方式是
email给NVC attorney account，但“but it was that account that told me to
email the materials to the account I emailed most recently with your
documentation. Otherwise, we could try mailing your materials, but that
seems inefficient. Would you like me to try our luck with the attorney
account?”
不太明白上面这话什么意思？有没有人知道这个attorney account是做什么的？我应该
让律师再把材料寄给这个NVC attorney account一次吗？

match the latest NVC notice date.

My PD is 2008.01, but I wish more 2008/2009 PD can be admitted, so I really

future movement. In this summer I verified an Indian NVC notice of 4/15/2008
(credible source), but some other Indian folks claimed they got NVC notice
with PD June 2008. Maybe these guys are also credible, but I never verified
with them personally.

Also one thing I want to point out:
usually NVC send out notices in batches month by month after the monthly VB.
This exactly what happened in April-June. NVC sent notices after each
release of VB in April, May and June.This time it was sent right after the
release of Dec.VB.
although we only see July 2008 in this batch, it's very likely they may send
out more notices in the next month.That's why I predict it may reach Dec.

yes, but automated email still needs a "rule", which is set by officials
from NVC coz I remember some1 mentioned NVC fee would expire in 6 or 12
months?
even it's retrogress, we should still be confident, ppl who got NVC fee
notice should be current within 6 or 12 months upon their receiving the
notice, depending on if it's expired in 6 or 12 months.

可能可以current。
现在的问题是我的材料被转到了NVC，走CP，而不是大家所说的NBC，走AOS。我告知NVC
说我要走AOS，他们就把皮球踢给了USCIS。联系USCIS告诉我，要交I-485等材料，才能
继续下一步。
但我目前还没有current，要到10月才可能current。我现在能叫I-485等材料么？
